Wow cool, thank you for this! Unfortunately the older-style design of their website doesn't inspire as much confidence that the business is flourishing lol. =( And I'm just taking a guess here, but I'd say this picture from their facility might not be very recent either. xD



Still! -- since they got the deal for James Bond's "No Time To Die", they must still be in business. Here's hoping that they continue to stay in business and get more of their cases out into the market. I quite like their design, and it'd be nice to have more options for disc cases. If only they offered their empty cases for sale as their representative suggested in that 3-year-old post here. I guess it just never ended up happening. =/

I also notice on the site that they make DVD cases in different colors, including in grey (which is my favorite color for DVD cases). I wish they had a picture of what the interior there looks like.

Went to this movie rental place about an hour away and they were selling blu-ray cases for $0.25 each so I bought every one that wasn't damaged or an eco case. 50 cases total.

I need a few 4k cases too and they had some in a back room along with a bunch of slipcovers but those weren't for sale, apparently. Weak.

I really wish I’d had the foresight to go dumpster diving at Blockbuster back in the day. Must be tons of the original, high-quality Elite cases in landfills across America.

I don't know if it's something Viva made specifically for Sony titles or what, but I just got Ghostbusters: Afterlife standard, and it was in a 2 disc Viva Elite case and the case is different from any Viva Elite that i've seen in the past. It's thinner (about 10.5-11mm thick) and more squared than rounded like the old Elites. so i wonder if they're changing the molds and going to a new style completely?

I ordered a 2-disc bluray video from Amazom made by Arrow. It's a trans-clear case with a plastic page where disc 1 is and the back cover has disc 2. The case had a large crack in it so I asked for a replacement which was worse. I had a regular 2-disc trans-clear case (disc 1 on front cover and disc 2 on back cover) but it's thinner by 2/3mm so the wrap around front/back cover is a little longer and doesn't lay flat. I need to get a replacement case of the same type. I tried the links on page 1 for Arrow and they don't work. Anyone know where else I can get this type of case?

The last order I placed was in June 2021. They did not ship until a month later after I emailed them. For some reason they didn't seem to actually ship orders unless you emailed them. I received my order just fine. But I'm reading a lot of issues with them now, and it seems their site is not up and running at the moment.

No doubt Casetopia suffered casualities during Covid. Who ever is left to pick up the business isn't capable, motivated, available, and/or acting responsibly. No doubt Casetopia has the inventory, but there simply isn't anyone there fulfilling orders anymore, and they could care less about the BBB situation. If you can't get your products, good luck getting your refunds. This business needs to be sued and shut down permanently by a court of law.

I honestly think Casetopia is a one-man operation. He gets behind, people email him and that reminds him on whatever they ordered.

Perfectly rational explanation that fits the history and the current situation perfectly. Regardless, it's completely inexcusable how Casetopia continues to operate the worst run business in America today, as a raw percentage of dissatisfied customers.

My last Casetopia order was back in like October. Toward the end of November after multiple ignored e-mails and unanswered phone calls I filed a claim with my bank to get a refund.

Bizarrely, they refunded the wrong order (one from DiabolikDVD) and so I had to get that straightened out but I wouldn't buy from CT anymore.

Just a suggestion: Given the case industry contraction we've seen, combined with the diminishing presence of physical media vs. streaming, combined with the recent spike (and for the foreseeable future) in the cost of natural resources associated with plastics manufacturing (petroleum), if you haven't already, I would stock up on cases while you can.

I hadn't bought cases in bulk in about 18 months, and was surprised at just how many fewer sources and sellers there are on eBay, Amazon, and elsewhere. The only source that seems to claim any stock at reasonable prices at all is Casetopia... and as we've seen in this thread, it's questionable whether they're even in business anymore.

I think in a few years that cases in general will be $3+ per case, and specialty cases (high capacity, black 4K UHD cases, branded 3D blu-ray cases, etc.) may be virtually impossible to locate other than as used cases.
