I’m still surprised that people still buy from them especially after reading all the horror stories here. I only purchased twice. Both times I had to report them to PayPal and the second time they mistyped the import papers so I had to pay duties and tax based on (after conversion) $150 worth of item when it was only supposed to be $15

Agreed. People should stop buying from them immediately. I placed an order with them on the 21st of January, and am yet to receive an email, much less my order from them.

It's literally the only way they'll send your order. I don't get it, but it's true. Seriously, make a twitter account, go on there, and tweet them with your order number and tell them it never shipped.....they'll ship it the next day. I have no idea why they operate like this, but I'm telling you, it will work. It's pretty much required that you ask them on Twitter where your order is.

It looks like they were pretty active on Twitter until last July but haven’t posted/re-tweeted anything since then. Still, I’ll dust off my account and give it a try!

This worked! After reading your advice, I went onto my Twitter and messaged them politely. They asked me for my order # and they shipped my order yesterday.

Just a shame that since we have a way to get them to move the needle, now they don't have any Viva Elite cases in stock at all.

I think they sell own branded copies/versions, iirc they have an eBay store too.

I was searching for cases just over a year ago and they popped up. On closer inspection the cases didn’t look legitimate to me. So that was as far as I went.

I recently bought $100’s worth of cases and organised importing them myself. One was damaged on arrival by the packer (obviously done in a ham fisted way) and the finer specific details of the order were ignored. When they landed I tried to make contact but only received radio silence.

Casetopia were my go to but after all the horror storied I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.

I ordered a few cases from Checkoutstore.com and they're ok. the quality is fine but they're almost always out of anything but single disc cases. I also ordered a few from SquareDealOnline.com and am waiting on those to come in. the cases look more like actual Viva Elites even though they're generic cases. will update with how the quality is when they come in.

Casetopia has locked their Twitter account. I was never able to get a response from them about my unfulfilled order. Not sure how they can legally get away with running what amounts to a fake store front at this point.

DO NOT order from Casetopia. They used to be legit but in the last few years they have gone from "not great but decent" to "you just dropped your money into a black hole."

Last two orders I had with them I had to get a refund via Paypal because I never received anything and they simply do not communicate. Paypal finally refunded me with a message stating "Unable to contact seller." Even Paypal can't get answers from them. Someone needs to shut them down ASAP.

Just an update on the cases i purchased from SquareDealOnline.com. they're pretty nice cases. pretty close to looking like Viva Elite cases and honestly, they might just be a little more sturdy. I think these will be my new go to cases.

on a side note, just wondering what people think of swapping out 4K cases to standard blu-ray cases since it seems it's getting hard to get those as well. not to mention, even if you do find them, you can't really find 3+ disc 4K cases from what i've seen. I don't have many 4K movies as it is because i don't even have a 4K TV yet. I've mostly just been buying the Marvel and DC movies in 4K to have them for when i do upgrade.

How did you ever get them to send you cases on this side of the pond? I know someone mentioned years ago that they would if you emailed them, but I never got them to respond to one of my emails.

can't help Jack--- but I've never ordered from these guys cuz I've heard nothing but complaints like your post............. hope it works out for you (and remember that if you used a CC--- you most likely can cancel and get the charge reversed...)
