Honestly, you get what you pay for. The official cases (Vortex and Viva) are the best. So many eBay sellers advertise cases with the "shiny logo", and the shipping is cheap, yet the majority are Generic or custom cases.

Just wondering, anyone know where to get some legit PS3 clear case replacements? I have a couple of those darned red cases for greatest hits that I want to replace, I know it seems silly but it really bugs me when I have a shelf full of clears and two random red ones.

Hmm. Kind of overkill. I would eventually use all the single cases but i only have 3 double cases that need to be replaced. It says that the single elite cases are back-ordered. Does anyone know how long it would take to get them?

It usually doesn't take discmakers long to get them back in stock (fews days to a week); best bet would be to give them a call and ask.

If you decide to place an order you'd have them within a week; they ship by UPS ground.

Before ordering Viva Elite cases from Casetopia, I made sure that cover art will fit properly without cutting using my other Elite US cases as an example. And they did. Perfectly. Today I received my package from Casetopia and surprise surprise now the cover art does not fit! %#%#&"&"

Anybody know where I can buy a 3-disc and 4-disc blu ray case that is 12mm thick? Both VIVA ELITE and VORTEX? I'm looking too combine my 2-disc special editions DVDs with my 2-disc blu ray editions of the same movies that I've double dipped on. Anybody know where?

Smaller quantities will be a bit more expensive per case but try Casetopia on ebay for 3-4 disc Viva and Vortex cases.

I ordered 25 single and 25 double from discmakers. It wasn't much more than the ones i was gonna buy on ebay and i'll get a bunch more. I might use some of the doubles for one blu-ray and put the dvd in there with it.

Just finished cutting the cover art of about 50 blus so that they fit into my new Viva Elite cases. Those look great.

Problem is that while cutting, I managed to f*ck up at least 4 covers and now they're ruined.

Is there any way to buy just the cover arts? Have you ever asked covers directly from studios?

Disney is OK with that. As long as you send back the ruined artwork. Call them up first though. (I don't have the number anymore, unfortunately)

Not that I know of, but you might check a few custom-cover sites, for hi-res scans or rebuilds of retail art. Then, you could edit the spine in Photoshop, to fit whatever size case you have. Just a thought...

I don't have a printer at the moment and I really want the original high quality cover. Too bad none of those ruined ones were from Disney.

I'm surprised you had to trim Heat or the Truman show... weren't they already in Viva Elites? And if not anytime I transfer cover art from a Vortex case to a Viva it fits snug but it goes in without a problem...

Those are all UK covers. Many did go okay without cutting but many did not. It sure was a pain in the ass job to do.
