That would be really cool Sussudio, since some like the WB ones and some like the Disney ones.
I personally like the WB style ones (elite)
Although some sites would advertise that it look like them but what you get is not actually an elite case. The quality of the case is fine but it is not exactly the same look. Some would not have rounded edges on the spine of the case.
Would be nice to find out who has actual elite cases.

I just got five in the mail yesterday from sleevetown and they are definitely real. They're exactly like the cases that Columbia and Sony use. Hancock, Hellboy, Casino Royale, Ghost Rider, Reign of Fire, Resident Evil 1-3, The Rock, Serenity, Underworld, and Underworld: RoTL are all movies that I have that came in the exact same kind of case you get from sleevetown.

I could've sworn that I got on this thread a couple of weeks ago and found a link to one of the Elite 6-7 disc cases on the front page, but now I can't find it. Plz help! I need to buy a couple of those cases.

Is this what you are talking about?

Keep in mind this bit of info though:

Great thread by the way. Are there any short compact stands that open and close that somebody can personally recommend? I'm moving and bringing a fraction of my collection with me. Something along the lines of this? http://www.racksandstands.com/Southe...23-UT1147.html
It says that they are $5.99 in Ikea...I too, wish I had the walls for my movies.

Also, are the cases at SleeveCity the same as DiscMakers?

I recently purchased Dexter season 2 on blu-ray. One of my clips came broken so I am looking to replace the case. I looked through most of my single disc cases and none of them appear to have the inside clips for the 'flipper' with the 2 discs on it.

I went through most of the sites on the first page with no luck Anyone know where I can get one of these cases from? Or am I better off just using tape on the top part

This seller sells the 14mm Amaray with Swing trays http://stores.shop.ebay.com/KJRMEDIA...34Q2ec0Q2em322 Don't know if that helps. Other places I've seen it does not ship to the US.

First, when you say that a "clip" has broken, I'm going to assume that you mean one of the hinges, whereas, the "flipper" is a double-disc swing tray. Anyway, Dexter: Season 2 uses a 12.5mm Triple-Disc Viva Elite. While a 14mm Triple-Disc Amaray may be used to store all of the Dexter discs, the cover insert may not look all that great on a thicker case, what with the front and rear cover art potentially encroaching on the spine. Assuming that you still have the broken hinge piece(s), it might be worthwhile to superglue it back together, keeping in mind that there may, or may not be (based on your level of paranoia), the potential to give your discs an accidental cyanoacrylate hazing (https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...30#post2049230).

OP Update!

Hey guys...as you can probably see, the OP has been updated with a (hopefully) more efficient layout . To go over a few changes:
  • I removed the Blu-ray Blank Media section since I'm pretty sure that was never used to begin with
  • I've added sections for each case retailer that list case type, quantity (able to be purchased), and notes (i.e. if a member had a great/poor buying experience etc)
  • I'm hoping you guys can help me fill in the case type for each retailer (especially you, primitive ), and if you find new retailers, please post them using a similar template so I can look into it and add it to the OP.
  • I added a "Member Favorites" section for storage, so if people buy any stands/bookcases etc from the retailers posted (or from new ones which I can add) and are happy with them, I'll post a direct link to the item so others can check them out before browsing the entire site.

My main priority is adding in case types, so if any of you know the types provided by each retailer right off the bat, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope this will be able to help more people out now. If you have other suggestions, feel free to post here or PM me (which works better just in case I miss this thread)

Discmakers no longer sells the Elite cases. They're now selling the single and double disc Vortex cases (e.g. Sony).

Are there any retailers still selling Viva Elite cases? I haven't had any luck with those posted in the OP and even eBay is no use.

The top clip that snaps the case closed. I am very anal so if the case isn't EXACTLY the same size, I won't be replacing it. I did try glue overnight, and when I went to close the case it just snapped the tab right off again. I may try some automotive epoxy...

But for the moment I just keep it closed with scotch tape

Ok, so I've ordered my 10 6-Disc cases for way too much money, but it's worth it because I already have a use for 9 of them!!! It will make my shelf so much more fitted, and will allow me to get some of my big trilogies like X-Men and Pirates back together!

I will ask this question here, because I have no clue how else to find out...

Is there any blu-ray release yet using a single 8 disc case? I so want to be able to put my Harry Potter's in one nice case together!!!

Here is a question I haven't seen asked (I think)

Why in the hell is it taking forever for Blu-Ray cases to get out there to be bought?

Haven't BD been out since 2005? I know I bought my first BD movie back in early 2006.

Anyway, I myself am looking for 3+ BD cases.
I'd love to combine movies such as my pirares trilogy, Saw series, or movies where I have the couple on DVD and perhaps sequales on BD and combine them all. (for ex. Spider man 1 and two, on DVD, and Spiderman 3 is on BD, so a 6 disk case would be uber) (If this makes sence)

Not only saves space, but IMO is cool idea having movies all in one.
