Thanks to Penton's note above we were 10M+ Sept. 06.

So about 733,000 new views in 24~25 days. At 25 days, that's 29,320 a day.
I think my eyebrows just singed off from that pace.
Or else there's been a cosmic surge in HDR interest this month. Just sayin'...
It was likely due to advanced creative prerogative posting(s) drawing in readers willing to expand their minds with facts.

How does a behind the scenes, below deck kinesiology type pic of some of the crew for an upcoming motion picture to be exhibited in HDR remind one of what happened last weekend while watching on your dimming-free Sony X95J or LG C1 tv to pro player Granit Xhaka - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-a9vHkVe-8#t=12m55s ?

Answer - valgus stress.

More creative prerogative in determining the preferred nits levels for the HDR look(s) of WandaVision - https://postperspective.com/color-an...s-wandavision/ . And for you special subscribers, an HDR report - https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9540233

Wabo is back , where’s Agent Kay? - https://www.ibc.org/no-time-to-die-b...n/7951.article

Correct, for instance, the iris does not “open” - https://www.cnet.com/tech/home-enter...n-do-about-it/ . It contracts (and expands) to allow the pupil to dilate or constrict, properly, unless of course one has a Marcus Gunn pupil. A remedy for pleasurable viewing of one’s bright, non-dimming (Sony X95J, LG C1) HDR tv - https://www.biaslighting.com/blogs/n...need-for-my-tv .

Anyway, more facts in this progress report covering multiple committees (e.g. Advanced Imaging, Digital Intermediate, etc.) now available to special subscribers - https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9540049

That said, I must add that it is also pretty inspiring in these times when non-profit volunteerism just doesn’t seem as prevalent or appreciated as in the past, that this jet has also been recognized for the service it provides and thusly is also in the show - https://abc7.com/11062192/ as “There is nothing more powerful that giving a child their sight back”.

I haven't posted in this thread for a while so he's not around to follow and troll me like he does in other threads. Or nothing posted to slander Dolby over lately.

On that count, good to see some still devote their time like with the SMPTE project related to the IPT-PQ-C2 color representation given the large volume of consumer accessible content on servers, which is expanding daily, using this representation.

Just funny both BFI and Criterion's (Citizen Kane) first UHDs are black and white classics. You'll get the complaints from those that think HDR only benefits color material.

Moving forward, come the end of the year when this newest edition to HDR grading is expected to ship - https://www.redsharknews.com/flander...yes-survive-it , I wonder if some will slander Flanders Scientific, despite viewers’ eyes can/will easily survive it.

Technically Dolby Vision doesn't exist in cinemas. Dolby Cinema is a grade specifically for that venue.

the first ~ 44 - 45 min. of the SMPTE event is Pete in en français for our French speaking/understanding readers (although the UHD/HDR slides are in English), then the rest of the presentation is in English with Chris Chinnock trying to convince skeptics - https://www.facebook.com/events/404450714383112

Bonus: English speakers (technically one Brit and one North American who both speak a little French from time to time) covering an event in France the way it should be every year – wet, muddy and tough -
