Hopefully a classic western of the 3D variety
No, those won't be ready for a while. Right now, the 3-D Film Archive are working on Parasite, which we plan to release in October.

Within the next 48 hours, YOU will once again have the opportunity to help us restore and preserve a Golden Age 3-D title!

OK, this is all going to be a guess, but I'm going to make it now so I might be able later to say "Neener, nenner, told ya so!"

I believe this is more than just an announcement of an upcoming title, but perhaps an appeal to us to help finance the restoration of a Golden Age title, like we did for "September Storm". That means my guess will be to help pay for the music rights of "The Glass Web" or maybe finance the extra costs needed to make a new missing eye from the 3 strip OCN of "Flight to Tangier". Only time and Bob will tell!

I’m hoping for SOUTHWEST PASSAGE unless a Kickstarter is needed for the Universal westerns.

I'm hoping it might be "Money From Home" with Martin and Lewis.

If contributions are required, the title would be most appropriate!

I'm hoping it's a Golden Age 3D feature!

(That's pretty much all it's going to take for me to be on board.)

I received this e-mail from 3-D Space.

Thank you again for your support of our 2016 effort to save September Storm. The movie has had a new life on 3-D Blu-ray thanks to you.

We are about to announce a new Kickstarter campaign, in partnership again with the 3-D Film Archive, to rescue another "lost" 1950s 3-D motion picture.

Watch your email this weekend for details...

Yeah, I got that e-mail as well. Looking forward to finding out what title it is and being able to contribute to the release.

I just pledged but have to say that I would be more excited about it if it was for a title that hadn't already been announced.

Still, if it means getting subtitles and audio right, it's worth it and I'm happy to put my money down as always. Every vintage 3-D film deserves the best possible restoration.

Wow, that sounds like an amazing movie, with or without 3D (but hopefully with!)

Same here. I thought this was already cemented for the 3D Rarities Disc? Also, I wonder if this means another delay for that disc.

We can certainly proceed with the sub-par element but this film will only get one chance at restoration. Take a look at the before/after demo. Wouldn't it be better to work with 4K scans from the original 35mm camera negatives?

That's why we've delayed the project and launched a Kickstarter campaign. I can't cover this expense out of pocket and want the film to look its very best.

If you would consider helping us to save and restore this film, you can make that happen!

What will be unique about the "Kickstarter Edition" blu-ray of Rarities II? I've already pledged; just curious.

Pledge sent. Glad you finally moved on this restoration.

You're only asking for $22,500 ? That's not much.
You must be paying yourselves nothing for all this work.

It's gonna come out looking great, I'm sure of that.

Personally, I would rather this be a separate release and have 3D Rarities 2 come along first. Feel like I have been waiting an eternity for this.
