Great work and great example prepress. Actually for me, the biggest blunder of this type is in DDLJ itself. There is no layman in this country who woudnt remember every beat of music in each one of its song. and still they made a blatant error in its 5.1 remastered audio which is audible in BD as well as 2K digital file in theatres.

What baffles me the most is that as opposed to Darr, this movie was NOT originally mono. It had excellent stereo separation in its original dolby stereo/dolby 4.0 SR mix (Mr Sanjay of Sanjay0864 knows that best). I thot It should have been the easiest to extract center and surrounds out of this amazingly wide soundstage track and i couldnt have been more wrong. In the remastering they have successfully managed to completely omit and mute an obvious sound at the begining of a song which was audible in the audio cassetes as well !! beat that.

See here an old video before remaster on utube. between 0:14 to 0:18 there is a flute sound. again in 0:22 to 0:27.

And here NO flute at all - Mute in the latest YRF official link to the song- same as BD and 2k file (i watched it in theatres in December at its 1000 week celebration re-release)

Definitely they have its native audio track and they can do whatever want to do. They have separate vocal too. Here is a clip of DDLJ song (I made it short) Instrumental released by Yash-Raj Music. Everything is original, they have just removed the vocals and added piano track.
