Odds that Mean Creek will come to Criterion?

It still needs a blu-ray release.

I asked Criterion about the rationale for changing the Sex, Lies, and Videotape cover, and just heard back.

Seems likely. It's with Sundance Selects so it's fair game as part of the IFC deal.

Damn!

Pretty good sized earthquake a few minutes ago. A few discs came off the shelves but no Criterions were lost.

Double Damn!! We had an even bigger one (6.9) a couple of hours ago that knocked out our power and took out even more blus and dvds. The power of prayer didn't help since The Ten Commandments big box went down twice! This keeps up and I might have to scratch the shelves and go to the storage bins ala The Great Owl.
