Bestbuy has this for $499.98 and I highly doubt that you will find this model any cheaper than that anywhere else. Pretty much everyone is selling this model at about $499.98 right now and I wouldn't get your hopes too high for this to be on sale during those black Friday deals because even if it does it probably won't be much lower then $329.99 but I'm guessing at a black Friday price.

The 820 is very durable. I've had mine since 2019 and it's been going strong this whole time. As long as you take care of it, it will last.

Best build I’ve had was the Sony X800. I hate all the plastic they use in most players. And $500 for a largely plastic player is kinda ridiculous. But I wanted something that does everything before players start getting phased out. Plus I spent extra money from Hero Pay in MN. Otherwise, I don’t know if I could have justified it.

Has anyone had any issues with their UB820's? Picked one up not too long ago, my first 4k player and a Hisense U8H a few months ago, my first 4k tv. I noticed when I put in The Wizard of Oz 4k disc for my nieces that under HDR10+ the picture would dim and brighten to normal whenever the camera would change shots. Also when I'm playing a 4k disc and watching something in Dolby Vision that under tv settings it says Color Format: RGB and Color Depth: 8bit, is that normal or is it supposed to be different? I can't change settings on tv, but do the settings on my player need to be adjusted? Any help would appreciate it.

Dolby Vision is actually sent differently to the TV. So the TV is going to say 8 bit, but in reality it's really Dolby Vision. As long as you get a notification saying you are playing in Dolby Vision mode, you should be good to go! |

$600 here up North (Canadian land) ... $670 with tax.
▪︎https://www.visions.ca/catalogue/cat...gaAtT5EALw_wcB One thing is fo shure; it's not build like an Oppo 203. * We don't see new 4K Blu-ray players anymore...the times they are a-changin'. |

Full-fat Dolby Vision is 12-bit 4:2:2 but as said above is “tunnelled” through an 8-bit 4:4:4 signal (same bandwidth), the RGB 8-bit part is normal. |
