I believe this is the biggest difference I have ever seen between static and dynamic metadata.

I would say that the chances of a or are pretty good.

Edit: We will probably never know. After thinking on it a bit, should it not have been turned off? I know LG and Sony have their own “dynamic tone mapping” that is very good, but then that would only show their expertise in displaying an HDR10 signal, correct? So my question is this indeed a fair comparison between static and dynamic metadata content for this specific set???

I believe this is the biggest difference I have ever seen between static and dynamic metadata.

Just to go back to this, I thought I'd try that same 'Glass Blowing' clip on the ZD9 and even in 4000/0.005 mastered HDR10 (the Dobly won't activate as it's using a different profile thingy) it fully resolves all the little bits in the gas gun on my regular HDR settings.

Photo below, it's MUCH darker than the other two ^ because my camera can't get the highlights otherwise, but you see what I mean. Not the exact same frame either as the 4K60 clip cripples my OPPO if I try to step frame forward, but then those two photos ^ aren't the same frame either.
