I am the market for these discs clearly, you two are not but you feel the need to make everyone know rather self importantly that you dislike them.

No one cares really how you feel one way or another, they do not have extras and no amount of whining on a message board is going to change that.

Pffft, the previous releases can be bought for less than 10 USD (£6.50), with Taxi Driver only $4.99 (£3.25) with a coupon as recently as yesterday.

Sony and Disney are responsible for their Blu-rays, not Dolby or DTS.

this may have already been answered before, but does the Angels and Demons disc have both cuts of the movie or only the theatrical version?

Sucks that theirs no extra features on these new 4K release,if this upgrade formate takes off then without question in the next few years another re release will come out with all of the extras.I am still thinking about picking up Glory and maybe Ghostbusters even without the extras,which on most movies I own I never watch.

I like the fact that they are mastered in 4k but what bothers me is that they have no extras. Now if they are 10 each I would buy them

Runtime = 139 minutes

Extended is 146 minutes, so the 4K disc only has the Theatrical Cut.

I never understood the logic behind bring up one studio's faults to justify another's.

I really wonder what's the rationale behind leaving 20 GBs of free space. It's not as if the movies need extra waist room prior to going to a buffet.

Btw, I'm really glad that Dubstar asked about Angels and Demons. If these discs have between 10 to 20 GBs of free space, why couldn't they at least include 7 minutes of footage?

I disagree. Assuming the film can fit without any additional compression (like Gods & Generals or Gettysburg) audio commentaries, deleted scenes, and/or trailers should go on the feature disc. Any other features that do not cause additional compression of the film should be put on a second disc such as documentaries, interviews, music videos, isolated scores, etc.
