Back to Jack. In 2006?, there was a screening of The African Queen which I attended with my lovely wife. A motion picture that Jack Cardiff shot in the hot Belgium Congo with a 3-Strip Technicolor movie camera which was the size of a small refrigerator. I had to record the unique La Liga title decider which I’ll be watching this evening (in HD)….rooting for an exciting match and a different champion (Atlético Madrid), just for a change.

1. Capture at 4K/120fps and then compress it for sending along the signal chain delivery infrastructure into consumers’ homes.

or

2. Capture at 4K/120fps, then downcovert the material to traditional HD resolution and frame rate with metadata for sending thru the delivery infrastructure to the home where it is then re-converted back to 4K/120fps.

But I think my fave remains Shakira (from 2010) after watching the official video for the 2014 tournament. However that Pitbull is one lucky dawg.
