Not yet. The Best Buy at Park Lane just emailed me and said Kingman will be ready for pick up Sunday February 14th. Hoping they have others in stock as well or its ordering off Best Buy web page. This high end format always starts at the stores with Magnolia then spreads from there because when I purchased my first UHD in 2013 the Park Lane store in Dallas was the second Best Buy to sell UHD TVs (Houston had a location). Good luck finding the titles you are looking for fellow Dallasite!

Although Samsung are supposedly releasing the player in March and it comes with a copy of The Martian for free which is a plus. I just wish there were some pre orders up since we're half way through Feb already. |

And besides Dolby Vision doesn't grade in 2K, and prefer RAW files, as you know. |

I think you're assuming a bit too much there Pieter. 2K Dolby Vision DCPs for Everest and Scorch Trials confirmed here: http://www.avsforum.com/the-martian-...d-atmos-sound/
Yes, the Martian was rebuilt in 4K when they did the HDR grade but clearly it's the exception rather than the rule at this point in time. |

Touché. Perhaps from here on out every DV grade will be rebuilt in 4K (if not a straight upscale) but there are still some extant ones that aren't, and if I were a betting man I'd include those Warners DV titles announced in early 2015 as part of the 2K line up too. There's no way you're getting a true 4K-rez version of The Lego Movie any time soon...

I thought that too, it sounds a bit like an assumption but then Pieter could level the same accusation at my own AVS link ("how do you know Everest wasn't finished at 4K for DV?") so I'll call it 1-1 and leave it there.

![]() I have a better solution. I just e-mailed JT Eindhoven here in the Netherlands. Free info: it was the very first Dolby Vision theater in the world. http://investor.dolby.com/releasedet...leaseID=885978 Hopefully they can tell me, if there is a 4K DCP. Director on the DV grade. https://vimeo.com/155064688 |
