The reality just hit me. I ordered most of these during the Buy 2 Get 1 free promo at Target. I tried to cancel the Fast and the Furiois 6 and 7 and Harry Potter movies but it's too late and all of them started shipping. Bought most of them out of impulse. Only really want Planet Earth 2 and Fantastic Beast

^ Good job Pieter.

Not a 4K release per se, but ICYMI, hats off to the filming locations in The Hitman’s Bodyguard ……http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1959563/

And with the help of insights from that ^ video, if movie fans now realize a bit more about how tight money is with Hollywood feature films……independent filmmakers work with even tighter budgets, therefor, sometimes coming up with creative ways for redistributing money in order to produce the best product they possibly can with regards to enabling their creative vision…..

Mary Magdalene is a fairly low-budget movie shot in Italy.” Fraser explained. “We didn’t have many lights with us at all, I basically only took the Digital Sputniks, which I used for daylight, moonlight, fire, pretty much everything. We only ran off small generators, didn’t need any big cable runs, which cut down on the crew. The producers had $10,000 in the budget for consumables, but I said we don’t need gels with the Digital Sputniks, so let’s keep $2,000 of that for diffusion and put the remaining $8,000 back into camera. With LEDs, we used hundreds of RGB LEDs on Rogue One and at a push of a button we could change the entire color of a set; that is amazing. For me the appeal of RGB LED, though, is not the primary colors, it’s the skintones and the subtle colors.

The group returned, once again, to the theater where Fraser commented on the new footage.”.....http://www.theasc.com/site/blog/web-...ilm-institute/

Can someone with Twitter ask the creators of Wonder Woman & Justice League if a 4K DI is used?

Default New Lionsgate UHD titles

Just received info on some new titles from Lionsgate on 4K UHD. So far I've seen press releases for Snitch, Dredd and Ex Machina. Looks like June 6 release date. Dredd is Atmos and Ex Machina is DTS:X. I'm sure more will be posted soon.

Dredd......DREDD?? Oh mai days. Sky_Captain will be most pleased he can add another copy to his 927 editions of that movie. Even Ex Machina will be worth a look, see if the HDR and WCG can draw out more colour and highlights despite the super-soft anamorphic lensing (it worked for John Wick on UHD, after all).

thanks Kris!

As long as it's a full new master. The 2D extracted from the 3D hybrid disc looked horrible. (The US was hybrid only, unlike some other territories.)

Oh, testicles. I didn't think about that!! Hopefully Lionsgate will have a 2K 2D master on file.

These are B-list movies at best. Together, the 3 of these movies grossed 75million TOTAL.

Never seen dredd, only the original. Of the PQ is good I might pick it up.

Really hope we get some more A-List catalogs this summer.
