This movie was written by an AI. The program scoured thousands of movies and assembled from them a [s]script[/s] product already mathematically proven for wide consumption. The contrived plot takes no risks, everything is safe, you can usually predict what will happen a good amount of time in advance.

Tom Cruise would look a lot better if he didn't dye his hair. The humans involved in the production seemed to wanna show that he was old, as part of the story, but for some reason his hair is still off limits. It makes the character look vain. Every few years it looks weirder. Contrast that with Val Kilmer in the same movie, who accepts the grey, like a man.

Couple of very cool shots.

Good flick, but the core of the story was pretty much the same as the original.

A good timepass film but I had higher expectations going into the film. A version of the Dirty Dozen.

The last 30 mins or so were like an extension of the pre-title sequence of Tomorrow Never Dies

TG2's target audience doesn't even know Dam Busters exists... The movie copied the beats and plot lines it already knew audiences react to

I would have preferred an all-women beach volleyball team, but I'm afraid that would have seemed wildly out of place!

Finally got around to watching my Blu-ray. The sound is SO MUCH MORE robust than the initial stream.

Pretty much a remake, but overall better cinematography and more intense sequences

Some movies have a lot to say, and some just entertain. This was as entertaining as any movie I've watched in a very long time.
