well i think that was the point of the covers. kind of like dont judge a book by it's cover type thing and it works perfect for dexter since everyone thinks he's just like how the covers show pretty much. but hey if someone does the cover different but the spines are all neatly uniformed then i wouldnt mind. wish i could but dont really have the talent most have on here

ummm, if you want his covers you should ask him directly. I'm not sure he'd be so willing to give them to you seeing as how you're a new member and we've had problems with people stealing covers in the past.

I asked him directly, and m8 i am def not a cover stealer.
I am just in need of those 11 covers, so it is a bit ridicolous to pay a subscription fee for 1 year (for 11 covers) at a known cover site.

Its actually far from ridiculous. These guys work hard on their covers. Consider it an investment if you subscribe to one of the cover sites. You may find yourself wanting more than just those covers

Artists themselves don't get paid directly with custom cover sites. You could be put in jail for something like that. Its illegal. For custom cover sites, you pay a subscription to be a member and download the covers then. Money never goes directly to the artist. The money for subscriptions helps the site itself.

I was a member for 1 year as a Level 2 of "9covers"
So i don't see the fuzz about it, i also made some covers wich are still hosted there... and the thing is, They Are Mine and i want everybody to see them and even have them FOR FREE !!!
Is anybody here on the forum getting very very rich with making PSD Covers ? if so, then you have to sell 'm and not give away for free... i totally understand! But i think nobody is seeing 1$ for his creation, it only costs money.

Jeeez, maybe I'm not reading correctly but you guys just don't seem to get it. The artists, at least the ones I know, don't create these to make money off of them. They do it in their spare time as a hobby of sorts. They would have no problem giving you links to their covers if you were a member for a while or they knew you personally.

The designers here each had no problems giving their covers to requesting members IF said member is a member for at least 6 months or if the designer knew the individual.

I can't speak for them all but I think that's about correct.

i don't see what's wrong with being a member for 1hour or a member for 3 years. On this forum you don't even to be a member to get the covers... so i don't see your point.
The artist once upped them FREE for 3 times or even more (wich i asked). So what is wrong with upping them for the fourth time or give a link personally to me alone. What made him change his (or others) minds ?

Don't get me wrong, i'm even willing to pay for some descent covers, but i only need the 11 Star Trek covers and NO MORE !!!!
