Rocky's condition was totally ignored in Rocky Balboa. Now all of a sudden, they are addressing it here.

Much better trailer than the first one. Glad to see Dolph making a theatrical comeback with this and Aquaman.

He was in the hospital in the last movie. It isn’t all of a sudden

I'm talking about him being brain damaged, not the cancer.

Yeah because of Cancer. WTF does that have to do with Rocky V or the Drago fight?

I don't remember where he said it, but Stallone explained the diagnosis by saying Rocky never got a second opinion because he was adhering to Adrian's wishes.

Other than that, he didn't ignore Rocky V. He's still in the same financial situation (which never made sense because there are other ways athlete celebrities can make money) other than having a restaurant, and he brought up "home team" to his son in Rocky Balboa.

This is a movie series where Rocky takes enough direct hits in his fights to kill 100 boxers and where Rocky Jr. aged 6 years while everyone else was in Russia. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I'm refusing to watch any trailers for this movie. I want everything to feel new lol. The first Creed is one of my favorite movies in the last few years. Also helps that boxing is my favorite sport.

He had still lost his money and was living in his old neighborhood, but I guess the brain damage issue was somewhat set aside. At least the bit about him not being able to be licensed to fight(although the fight in Rocky Balboa was an exhibition).

What I wanna know is why was Rocky still living in that not-so-extravagant house in Creed when Rocky Balboa showed that he was making a lot of dough from the exhibition and endorsement deals?

Anyway, the trailer looks great. I'm there opening night.

Loved the new trailer, thought the first Creed was really good. better than i was expecting it to be. So I'm very much looking forward to this one.

I hope creed gets beat down pretty bad then makes the big comeback to win. I really want to have that underdog feeling.

Because Rocky was NEVER about the money simple guy that enjoyed simple things. At this point assume he just put it in the bank or gave it to Rocky Jr

He was about the money in III and IV. He didn't accept any cash to fight Drago, but he was living a lavish lifestyle. He even bought a robot with AI for Paulie's birthday.

This film has me genuinely excited and I just want to express some opinions about this franchise.

I love Rocky IV...but I can acknowledge it's cartoony, over-the-top and cheesy (I still love it).

I enjoy X-Men 3 too...but I also know it's not the best in the series and a huge step down from X1 and X2.

But I feel like Creed 2 will help to legitimize Rocky IV the way Days of Future Past helped to redeem X3 and legitimize it as well.

Creed 2 seems like it's taking one of the corniest and over-the-top films of the 80s and making a legit sequel...making us feel the weight and ramifications of Apollo's death even more than Rocky IV did. We'll get even more insight into Rocky's feelings about the entire event (besides exacting his reveng).

Super pumped and can't wait.

He was broke and living in squalor in Rocky V.
