Creed sequels in the works

If the creative team behind the new “Rocky” spin-off “Creed” have their way, the boxing drama will go the way of it’s predecessor and re-enter the cinematic ring for a second bout.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, Michael B.Jordan says he anticipates we’ll see me of Apollo Creed’s offspring beyond this first movie.

”[Creed is] definitely not one and done. Definitely a franchise, for sure… We’re already thinking about the next ones, too…You’ll see more of Adonis.”

In recent interviews, co-star Sylvester Stallone has also acknowledged that “Creed” is a kick-off point for a new franchise, one in which it sounds like he too will be a part of – even if Jordan’s Adonis Creed will be the main act now.

Showbiz411 say two more instalments in the ‘franchise’ are already in the works, info he gleaned from producer Irwin Winkler.
