Last Year at Meriebend
The Man Who Fell to Earth
Circle Le Rogue
Cungking Express

The Third Man was on my list, but the recent Studio Canal rerelease made that a mute point.

If Criterion re-release Third Man, I'd probably buy it. But if they don't, the studio canal version seems fine.

La Strada is probably the top of the list for me

A few others would be
Written on the Wind
Night Train To Munich
Onibaba
Elevator to the Gallows
Ugetsu
Magnificent Obsession
Stray Dog
Au Hazard Balthazar
Double Suicide
Good Morning
Tales of Hoffman
Red Beard

Guess I'll stop before it gets out of hand

Oh, I thought the poster meant the Blu rays that are now out of print. Those are great choices you mentioned, and I'd like to also mention Pick Up On South Street which has a phenomenal 4K transfer from Euerka/MoC. I can't see Criterion not releasing this since they also released the superb The Killers recently.

eBay solves everything.

And did they really stop shipping to the UK? I live in Denmark and I just did a test to see if I could order a Criterion from amazon.com and it allowed me to get to the final payment page just fine. Weird that it doesn't work for UK then.

Watched It Follows last night. Really cool indie flick with an awesome retro vibe. Really enjoy this kind of thing. Actually kind of reminded me of Drive with the retro music and look. Would really like to see this kind of thing in the Criterion Collection.

I really enjoyed It Follows. I'm not so sure about it being Criterion fare, but it was more atmospheric than I imagined, and I loved the music. I was reminded of a great film from last year, Cold in July, that utilized a score inspired by John Carpenter.

Do you know if you were attempting to purchase from Amazon directly or a 3rd party seller?

Number One on my list of upgrades was Night and the City, which was released earlier this month, and measures up to my highest hopes and dreams. (Thank you, Criterion!) My new Top Ten List is, by spine number:

062 The Passion of Joan of Arc
096 Written on the Wind
103 The Lady Eve
124 Carl Th. Dreyer Box Set
215 Knife in the Water
273 Thieves Highway
291 Heaven Can Wait
358 Pandora's Box
523 Night Train to Munich
528 3 Silent Classics by Josef Von Sternberg

(How could I have left off Summertime, Green for Danger, The Naked City, Unfaithfully Yours, Missing, Z, Roberto Rossellini's War Trilogy, Bicycle Thieves, Vampyr, Death of a Cyclist, Les Enfants Terrible ... oh, heck, I want them all!)

The thing that ruined the film for me was when
[Show spoiler]they revealed others could be affected and essentially see the follower. It took all fear away and just made it come across corny and a bit lame. I thought it would have been scarier if only one person could see and be affected by the follower - that would be far more scarier knowing someone is being followed but only they can feel its presence.

I don't know its just made it silly, great soundtrack and loved the lead actress! It wasn't awful but was most certainly over hyped.

Far too many. Just to be different, I'll list titles they've only released on laserdisc, and that haven't been released in the US on Blu-ray (but ignoring rights issues)...

Swing Time
The Magnificent Ambersons
Sabotage
Secret Agent
Young and Innocent
The Asphalt Jungle
A Night at the Opera
Scaramouche
Tunes of Glory
The Horse's Mouth
Show Boat
Adam's Rib
Blowup
King of Hearts
Bad Day at Black Rock
Here Comes Mr. Jordan
Arsenic and Old Lace
Blackmail
Damage
Osaka Elegy
She's Gotta Have It
Cat People
Dersu Uzala
Once Were Warriors
Why Has Bodhi-Dharma Left for the East?
Waltz of the Toreadors
El Cid
Montenegro
The League of Gentlemen
A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese Through American Movies
Crash

With respect to what they've released on DVD that need an upgrade, my Top Three would be:

The Passion of Joan of Arc
Andrei Rublev
The Last Wave

I was in the mood for a western last night and watched Stagecoach for the first time. Hard to imagine that was before anyone knew how big of a star John Wayne would become. His presence on the screen is always something to behold.

I enjoyed the film more from a historic perspective than the actual movie. John Ford's first western with sound...Wayne's first major role...preview of Monument Valley for future Ford films. There are a ton of supplements I want to dig into when I get the chance.

The StudioCanal 4K restoration isn't just fine, it's better.
