Road Trilogy looks to be a beefy set. $100 MSRP. A couple Wenders shorts and a book.

They've done it a few times. Costa-Gavras last year, Godard with Made In USA and Two Or Three Things I Know About Her are two that come to mind.

In a Lonely Place will be a day one purchase for me. It's been a great time for Bogart fans the past few months.

I have never been as excited about a Criterion announcement as I am about In a Lonely Place.

I cannot wait to upgrade my DVD.

Other than Easy Rider (I have the BBS release), I'm in for everything this month. Better stuff my tax return under the mattress until then.

It's crazy how some people aren't interested in anything, and some (like myself) think this is Criterion's best month in quite awhile.

How many more box sets do they break up in 2016? Off to a good start with Brief Encounter and now Easy Rider.

Badass month, I gotta say. Really looking forward to all of these, except "Easy Rider" which I already have.

Holy Crap! What a month. Not sure how anyone can say 'Meh' when the likes of Ray, Wenders, Shindo and Altman just got new releases in the collection...

Might I suggest following another board?

Kidding, of course! BUT STILL!

The Road Trilogy has been one of my most anticipated releases forever. Very excited.

In a Lonely Place is a great film, one of Bogart's best performances as well and can't wait to finally have it on blu.

I can't imagine anything ever making me giddier than the Rosemary's Baby newsletter clue did but yeah, this is pretty awesome. It's a long time coming too.

Well they already broke up BBS with Five Easy Pieces and probably more to come.

Love this month!

I have the out-of-print blu of THE PLAYER, but will happily upgrade to Criterion's! Same for my DVD of IN A LONELY PLACE. These are two excellent films!

Best month for Criterion so far this year in my book! Already own the BBS set, so I'll pass on Easy Rider... but I'm definitely in on In a Lonely Place, The Player, and The Road Trilogy. Wenders is my favorite of the New German Cinema directors, so this set is a no-brainer!

Fantastic month. There should be no complaints from anyone. I'm in for Wim Wenders and In a Lonely Place for sure. I love Easy Rider, but I think they should have released The Last Picture Show instead since it has not had a stand alone release yet.
