The Wall would be great, but I've heard that there's been a lot of legal troubles surrounding it, seeing as though the movie was released by MGM and the album by Columbia, which is owned by Sony

Sony previously released The Wall themselves or should I say Columbia on DVD. I can't imagine a huge battle over the film with MGM because they license out everything else. The music is the main thing for sure I would imagine if there is trouble an agreement would be made between both parties. I think the really issue was Roger Waters Wall Tour and album / Concert releases. Him wanting to separate the two.

Also many are still waiting for the original album on BLU audio disc and or SACD with multi channel mixes. I bet they are trying to prep it all out for a major release wih box sets etc. at least I hope so.

Oh MY God. What a month!

An upgrade of Short Cuts!

Boyhood!

Pan's Labryrinth!

This might beat the September announcements!

Funny enough, the films I'm most interested in this month are the ones I havent heard of.
I'm down for Tree of Wooden Clogs and The Executioner (and Pans Labyrinth).
Not down for Boyhood or Short Cuts but glad they got them out of the way.

They are cranking out the Altman films this year. First The Player, then McCabe & Mrs. Miller, and now Short Cuts. Could Gosford Park be next?

September brings Blood Simple and Dekalog, and now October brings Short Cuts, Pan's Labyrinth and Boyhood. That screaming sound you may hear is my wallet. Pay it no mind.

The Del Toro trilogy comes with a 100 page book, probs not just a repackaging like the Stillman trilogy was.

Also the Before trilogy for next month seems like a sure bet.

Hopefully.

That Canadian Alliance Blu-ray is not appealing at all.

Definitely down for Short Cuts. I'm a big fan of both Altman and Raymond Carver, and the extras on this look great!
