On a similar note, I snagged Rosemary's Baby from Amazon since it went down to $17.11. It came open. It wasn't shrink-wrapped, but thankfully it's in good condition. Psyched to finally have it in my collection.

I got this as well and mine came yesterday with damage to the shrink wrap and had me worried when opening it. Luckily no damage to the case really but minor indentations in the artwork and the booklet was a little rough

I spent way too much but no regrets haha. Also quick question, do you guys think criterion will start releasing 4K discs? I was watching a video of their restoration process and how they scan everything into 4K now, so just curious if they'll start releasing actual UHD copies

This is about to release, for any Koreeda fans who are not region free. Not Criterion, but still seems like a nice release.

I don't know what happened to the US release. It was on Sony's schedule, but it never materialized. It looks really good.

I have the UK blu, but I figured there was likely to be some Koreeda fans in these parts that can't do Region B.

Only if by "lack of Asian films" you mean specifically "lack of Asian films that aren't martial arts or swordplay films". Well Go USA seems to have released a couple of hundred Asian films on Blu-ray just on their own.

Fair point, yes. I'm certainly thinking more in terms of drama.

I guess we're lucky to have some films released through Criterion, but I'm always crossing my fingers for more.

Thankfully Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong are all Region A.

Terrific film. Like Father, Like Son is another title that needs a blu-ray release. The film is available on Amazon video in HD (Good quality).

I have the UK blu of that as well. It's a shame it hasn't found a release here on blu.

Not to be that guy, but the only valid reason to cry is when a film never gets a bluray release. My beloved Homo Sapiens for example.

I didn't realize there was a US blu for Right Now, Wrong Then. I picked up the Plain Archive version already.

Yup. By Grasshopper Films. As a matter of fact, it'll be among their first two releases. The other being Kaili Blues (another Asian film)

Here's to hoping they'll be with us for a long time.
