I can also vouch for Nautilus. They are a top notch company and ship quickly. Very easy to deal with.
Another great company folk here may not know about is Dark City Gallery in England. They have many interesting prints, a number of which are Criterion-related and include: The Third Man; Peeping Tom; The 39 Steps; Blow-Up; Don't Look Now; and The Long Good Friday, which I purchased.

Quite a few editions sold out, but plenty of good stuff still available.

I feel the same way about Whalen. I think he does some things very well. I have a couple of his Peanuts prints and these look really nice, as well as his Mon Oncle print from the Jacques Tati series which I think is his best work. He is a talented artist but I find his style doesn't click for me on many of his other pieces.

My favorite artist today is probably Jonathan Burton from the UK, who did The Circus print in the Chaplin series. I now have half a dozen of his prints - Dracula, Frankenstein, Vertigo, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Le Dernier Metro (i.e., Criterion's The Last Metro, from the Truffaut series available from Nautilus).

[Show spoiler]

Other artists I really like and have prints from are Stan and Vince, Kevin Tong, Laurent Durieux (who did the cover art for Criterion's Things to Come), Francois Schuiten, Stanislav Plutenko, Chris Reccardi, and Josh Agle (aka Shag).

I wish these guys would do more prints for film noir movies. I would snap those up in an instant. I have Francavilla's The Third Man print, which looks awesome.

he's gotta rein it in a little bit. acknowledgment and a kind word is one thing, but he looks kinda silly in that clip - that could be creepy for a celeb, no?
Dolan is the French-Canadian wunderkind du jour who has won multiple awards at Cannes and elsewhere, including this year's Best Director César. He's most well-known for Mommy and Laurence Anyways, and his latest, It's Only the End of the World (for which he won the César), stars Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard, and Léa Seydoux. I would be very, very surprised if she didn't know who he was.

I also get the sense that he was being a bit facetious. He is plenty famous in his own right by now.

Released by Nautilus Art Prints in Europe and available directly from them or through their US partner Bottleneck Gallery in New York.

There will be a fifth released soon for Modern Times. These will hang on my walls alongside two other fantastic series released by Nautilus in the past couple of years featuring Jacques Tati and Francois Truffaut.

I am hoping they commission a print for City Lights one of these days, my favorite Chaplin movie.
Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I ordered the Gold Rush poster. First time ordering from BNG, what's the typical wait? I've ordered from Mondo before so I'm okay with a wait, I'm just curious.

I agree, though I am a fan of Whalen his print for The Kid just did nothing for me at all either.

Oh dang that PlayTime print is tempting. Please stop.

Seriously though, how fast is the shipping to US? How much is the shipping?

First time for me too. I guess it depends on if they have stock or have to wait on it from Nautilus.

Nautilus is quick. When I order from them they usually ship within a couple of days and it gets to me in Texas in about a week to ten days later. Shipping cost is in euros and you can check on their site (put item in your cart and go to checkout). I think it is around $20-$25 or so converted, but I don't recall exactly. It is pretty reasonable for an overseas shipment from Belgium. I did a comparison with Bottleneck Gallery before I ordered the four-print Chaplin set and the cost with shipping is only slightly higher from Nautilus. Knowing how good Nautilus is, ordering from them might be faster but I wanted to try out BNG.

I just checked the tracking on my order: Shipped from Belgium on 12/12/16, and delivered in Massachusetts on 12/20/16. Poster was EUR50, and shipping EUR23. Hope this helps.

I was so bummed to see those Third Man prints were sold out. Totally would have snagged the variant.

All I know is that I clicked on the item and it said "Add to Cart" so I figured it was in stock. My bad!

That's the one that stuck out to me from his filmography, was just looking at the DVD rights for it. It was from MGM, so it's definitely possible for Criterion to have licensed it, and it seems up their alley. It's also the 15th anniversary for it.

THE CLAIM would be awesome too - Criminally underrated and a great companion piece to MCCABE AND MRS. MILLER. It's also MGM.
