Have they done this before, leaving extras like these off DVD editions?

No SUPERMAN...at least for another month. Criterion has yet to do a 4K Ultra HD disc. Will Criterion save its best for last in 2018? Tune in Sept. 15th.

11/20/18 will have the Bergman box, True Stories, and Ambersons.

There is no chance that single day of releases will ever be topped by Criterion.

Does the Bergman set have a spine #?

Also noticed True Stores says 1 disc, but is listed at $49.95. There is a "first time compiled" cd included to probably increase the price.

I wonder how it will be mastered?
Has a soundtrack on cd ever been included in a Criterion release?

The Bergman set alone pretty much solidifed this as one of the best CC months ever, but adding Magnificent Ambersons, Some Like it Hot, and a classic Mizoguchi on top of that? Going to be hard to top that.

(Dear Criterion: Feel free to top that with a huge Kurosawa box set one month

I doubt that Criterion will be releasing 4K Ultra HD titles anytime soon. The market isn't big enough for it quite yet. Give it a year or two and then maybe.
