^This year Arrow's head of restoration James White does not seem to have contributed his list (which of course avoids naming any Arrow releases).

My guess for the delay is that Jason Polan drew Brudapest truly “grand” and the drawing is such high resolution that the emails aren’t going out.

I could’ve sworn that the drawing is posted on NYE every year. Are they skipping it this time??

I just watched Memories of Murder for the first time and it was amazing. How is it possible that it still doesn't have a Criterion release? I found out that they even made a closet video with Joon-ho Bong and that was 4 years ago.

Maybe the lack of a drawing means that they’re going to halt production on all physical Blu-Ray releases and release movies only on their streaming platform.

Speaking of their streaming platform, I just literally received an email from Criterion moments ago about their new streaming service. Things are moving forward. As a charter subscriber they gave me a code for $10 off on any purchase at Criterion.com.

Of course, practically speaking that $10 code doesn't mean much, as I'd need to spend over $50 to get free shipping. Better to wait for the 50% off sale.

Standard shipping for me is almost $7. To get free shipping I'd need to buy another title at full price. It's just not worth it. Better to wait for the sales.

I didn't see any expiration date in the e-mail. I've never bought anything from them for more than 50% off and don't plan to start now.

Ditto to your comment. How many of you opened your email and saw Criterion Collection in bold letters and immediately had the elation assuming it was for the yearly puzzle of upcoming films to be released? I sure did.

So are the ones highlighted in red more likely to get physical releases? Bandits Vs Samurai Squad is a holy grail of mine. Been bugging Criterion for years to release thus along with Hunter in the Dark.

The ones highlighted in red are for the phantom pages on Janus's website.

No idea if that film will get a physical release, but it'd be pretty cool.
