I want all the Lynch. And IE has been unavailable in the US for awhile.

Just spitballing here but with Olivia Colman getting an Oscar nomination this year would anybody welcome a Criterion release of Tyrannosaur? It still doesn't have a Region A blu-ray release.

The very thought of this happening makes me an extremely moist man, moist in ways unpublicly stateable. It is what it is.

Even if the box set includes Lynch’s previous releases along with new ones I’d be all over it. I’m hoping they’ll include some of his online shorts from the glory days of his website, not specifically for a box set but even on the next CC Lynch Blu.

Yeah, I’m not saying they shouldn’t release Inland Empire, it’s just that Lost Highway hasn’t had a U.S. release either and was shot on film so I’d be more excited for it.

There are a lot of good bonus feature opportunities for IE, including the 2 hours (or close to) of deleted scenes that Lynch recut (Missing Pieces style) into More Things That Happened. The quality of More Things That Happened as it is on the DVD is very poor, bizarrely it is all windowboxed too.

The Lynch: One documentary too, which was very good, is now breathtakingly costly because out-of-print, and also had some good extras of its own.

Dear Criterion,

If you're planning a Lynch box set, pleeeeeease, for the love of Pete, release the contents individually, too!

Or, release it on UHD and I'll gleefully buy the whole set.

With love,

Your friend, Doctorossi

I’d buy a boxset even if it came with the ones I already have.

My assumption, outside of contractual reasons, is that Criterion might fear reverse importation more than Arrow.

If a David Lynch box set is released, it better include The Straight Story.
