The Faith Trilogy looks terrific on blu-ray. Those who will be getting the films with the trilogy box will like what they see.

Im really happy that they carried over all the same artwork for this Blu-ray set as the DVD set is quite lovely.

I might have to retire my Laserdisc. Berman's set is so tempting.

No, I haven't, and I never will. It's simply not affordable.

The box set can be very unfriendly to shelf space; nothing wrong with folks wanting/waiting for individual releases.

Things get worse for international customers like me - I'd have to use a parcel forwarding service, and the shipping costs would be astronomical thanks to how weighty it is.

That Bergman boxset is super nice, but I like to have films, especially these Bergman's, in their own stand alone releases. These films deserve it, and I just like that sort of thing. So I'm waiting for the films to separately trickle out.

Now that this set is anounced, which is a Holy Grail as Cremildo said, I'll be on the look out for Hour of the Wolf next. I've never seen it, but I've heard things.

Most excited about Swing Time, but also very intrigued by Humanité.

If those things you heard are superlative, then they are true.

I'll definitely upgrade Hour of the Wolf whenever a standalone release comes along, too.

I feel your pain. I work in my company's shipping dept and sending our products to Brazil is the biggest nightmare we have.

I hear you. Trust me, it's hell for us collectors, too. Our American orders generally get stuck four months in customs - and one has to pray that they don't get "lost" there. I've had six packages from the USA (three of them containing Criterion BDs and boxsets) disappear without a trace.

Anyone else waiting to pre-order that Bergman trilogy on Amazon or do most of you usually pre-order directly from the Criterion site?

Was really hoping for some Kurosawa, Kobayashi, or Gosha this month, but once again I'm let down.

Probably Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Swing Time for me. I love the cover of Swing Time, but wish the the title didn't take up as much space.

With Swing Time it's nice to see Criterion's second ever commentary (the first being King Kong) make it out of the Laserdisc archive.
