And by the way, I'm having fun digitizing VHS tapes from the 1990s here on a refurbished VCR from 1998 (Panasonic AG-1980p) I got off of Ebay last week. I'm watching all sorts of music/sports programming I taped off my old VCR and now I'm capturing the video into my Macbook Pro (I need to toss these old VHS tapes!). This is one amazing VCR by the way. Out with the old, in with the old.

If you have Alexa, figure out a way to activate her so she refreshes the Criterion site and gives you updates every 60 seconds on whether the new releases have been announced. Ha ha

I did the same thing right after I bought my first DVD recorder, and had a blast doing it. By the way, my old Sony VHS player is still working great, as is my old Pioneer LaserDisc player ... I just don't turn them on much anymore.
