Had the Arrow edition of the Human Condition for a while now, imported from the UK (region-B locked unfortunately). Saw the first film and it was incredible. Need to make time for the other parts.

If Criterion puts it out for the States I might double-dip on it. Would be curious if they have a different transfer and extras and such.

Down year for Criterion for me so far. Only must have’s so far are Wanda and the Fassbinder set(if the Now, Voyager rumors are true, then there’s that too.)

We can say that Criterion has been only vaguely alluring for you.

Wait, what? There's rumors of Now, Voyager coming to the collection? Huge Bette Davis fan and this news has escaped me. She made 101 films and I've got 100 of them collected. This is fantastic news if this is planned. Definitely in my top 5 of all her films. Bette Davis is awesome.

It would be nice if Jon would reply to even one of the multiple emails I've sent him over the past year. Alas, nada. (Although they weren't regarding disc replacement, only catalog inquiries.)

Criterion's Lee Kline mentioned it during a podcast interview with the Home Theater Forum.

That and the upcoming Warner Archive release of Jezebel would make for a fantastic night of film viewing.

I'd love to get some more of her movies off my DVR, and onto blu-ray. As it is, I've got Pocketful of Miracles, Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (will have to import the MoC), The Little Foxes, Of Human Bondage, and The Sisters. I just deleted The Letter and The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex, as I'm running out of room. I'd like to own both those, too, especially the latter. Bette, Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland? Yes, please!

Wonderful selection on that DVR. The Letter is also a personal favorite as well. William Wyler was very skillful in being able to tone down her theatrics to give a better performance and in The Letter it truly shows.
There are so many of her films I'd love to see arrive on Blu-ray but a big thanks to Warners Archive for releasing so many on DVD.
Could you imagine Now, Voyager and Bringing Up Baby being released in the same month? I'd have to be picked up off the floor.

I got a response from him after I sent a second email. He wants me to take a video of the audio issues and we'll go from there

Not sure if it's Criterion, but the Stanley Kubrick Facebook page posted a picture of what looks like a massive box set. The post said that an announcement will be made this Thursday at 10 a.m. BST.

^ Judging by the link on the teaser announcement, it's WB -

Supposedly there have been no new scans done for Eyes Wide Shut or Lolita. Unless they've begun or this set is coming next year to include them, it very well may be re-released discs. Typical WB in that case!

I'm dithering about buying 1984. I already have the TT Blu. Is the picture on the CC disc sufficiently superior to be worth buying?

Out of curiosity, which one are you missing? And what are your top 5?

Not interested in a new Kubrick set unless it's coming from Criterion.

I can't see it being anything but a 4K release. A new BD is t would be pointless. I'd be surprised if it was from Criterion, though it could be a co-release with Warner on some titles (like Strangelove, and Barry Lyndon).

Not interested unless they are new scans or UHDs.
