I'm good with the Fox release, which is still in print, BTW.
I'm wondering if they pushed it out because they're worried about losing access to the Fox library because of Disney's acquisition.

The Fox Blu for “A Letter to Three Wives” is a fine enough release. An upgrade like “Pickup on South Street” and/or “Thieves Highway” could of taken Eve’s slot.

I've held out on importing Pickup because I always thought that title was just around the corner from CC. With my luck I'll cave and import it and it'll be in the next batch of CC announcements lol

Personally, I don’t own the old eve disc so I’ll be getting the criterion and will enjoy myself watching it.

Wow @ Bette Davis finally entering the collection with not one but two releases in the same month. While I agree that another Blu-ray of All About Eve may be superfluous, I must say I'm still over the moon. It's what she deserves. Hopefully The Letter and The Little Foxes are in the pipeline from either Criterion or Warners.

Disappointed with All About Eve, but the pleasure from Now, Voyager is much bigger for me. And welcome to the collection, Ms. Davis! Ms. Crawford was waiting for you!

Second Sight's region-free UK blu contains both Director's cut AND the theatrical cut. The extras, including the Blue Note and Bungalows docu are on a PAL encoded DVD, though.

Warner did put out a R1 DVD 15 years ago.

Tbh, I’m most happy for The Daytrippers. Can finally get rid of the original mediocre dvd release. More 90s American indie cinema the better. Definitely wasn’t expecting this

I knew I prob should have waited and not imported Cold War...

The best announcements are Betty Blue and Cold War. The All About Eve release sounds largely similar to the previous edition but some of the new extras might make it more worthwhile.

I really enjoyed The Daytrippers when I saw it back in the day. I just have a feeling that it would feel dated now.

Definitely picking up Now, Voyager.

I think is the first month I can remember that I’ve actually seen every title... pretty good month I think. them announcing earlier in the day might be the closest to an apology we get for last month’s torture

The Letter has been screaming for a Blu-ray release for years, and yet Criterion opts to go with a movie that already has a superlative release from another label.

Idiots.

I wish Shout just did a big box of them at some point down the line or Arrow brought them out here. I was collecting the Twilight Time ones for a while and this set.

Deconstructing Harry would be great to see. New York Stories is coming out through Kino soon.

That's my concern too - some of that stuff holds up, some doesn't. But it was a great cast - I'll have to sample it again.

Cold War will likely be the only one of these I pick up in November, but I can see adding others later.
