The Cremator is soooo good. Can't recommend it enough.

Poor Greta Garbo, though, with only two of her movies on Blu Ray.

I'm up for Destry Rides Again.

I already own Army of Shadows, so I'm good if this is simply a back-in-print reissue with nothing new to the table. I'm overjoyed that it's available for everyone again, though, because it's one of my top five Criterion titles.

I'm also intrigued by The Cremator.

I'm glad Army of Shadows is back in print, wonder if this means Le Cercle Rouge could be back on the way?

Dietrich with four titles new to Region A Blu-ray within two months in the first half of 2020 alone, of course not counting her two all-time-best box sets from Criterion and Indicator and the several stellar standalone releases to her name.

Garbo with two titles total since the introduction of the format a decade and a half ago.

The Cremator is great and a nice surprise for this month, its a weird movie but really good. Also in for Grand Budapest and Destry.
Overall really happy with these announcements!

The Cremator is one of the best films I've ever seen, happy to see it enter the collection. I was hoping The Grand Budapest Hotel would be Criterion's first UHD release but I guess they'll never make the jump to 4K.

I am guessing now that every single Wes Anderson film, except Isle of Dogs, is in the Criterion Collection, eh?

Wish we'd have some Abel Ferrara though. Not a single title.

It could possibly get its own special announcement, like the Bergman set.

Very glad to see Army of Shadows back in print, I had missed out on it the first time around. Not familiar with Destry Rides Again, but it looks interesting.

Hoping to see Spellbound & Diary of a Country Priest upgraded soon, alongside the Mirror.

I could see them waiting for the 20th to announce it on his actual birthday.

If you have seen WORLD on a WIRE

You see a impersonator performing Boys in the Back Room

DESTRY RIDES AGAIN is the film that featured the song performed by Marlene Dietrich

Or in the next couple of days. The 20th is a holiday. I think the Bergman set was announced a couple of days before his birthday.

With worse luck still is Norma Shearer. She has only The Women (which I adore) to her Blu Ray legacy (unless you want to count her work as an extra in Way Down East).
