Others sound interesting, but likely only The Red Shoes UHD for me.

I wonder if they're going to rethink about doing a 4K package for One Night in Miami like they did with Uncut Gems. Pretty silly and counter-productive for them not to do so right now.

So just 3 titles for December. I know it's often a lighter month, but I thought we'd see two UHD's at least.

According to Studiocanal it was slated for December from Criterion. Criterion have their own schedule of course, so who knows.

Quiet month. Thinking it may be a waste to get One Night in Miami now considering it's a 4K transfer on a regular bluray...love the film though but might wait to see if they oull what they did with Uncut Gems.

Extremely excited for The Red Shoes in 4K.

I don't think "One Night" will get a 4K. They had time to decide whether to announce it as such or not. I think it's one of those things where we have to acknowledge not every 4K eligible title will get a 4K release. The same happens with every boutique label. Of course if lots of people send emails requesting Criterion re-consider, perhaps they will, but I just don't see them doing UHD for everything.

It's also possible that Amazon didn't grant them 4K rights since having it streaming in UHD is still a draw for them.

Yeah, I'll sit December out, but Red Shoes on 4K should be stunning. If I didn't already own the Criterion BD I'd get it for sure.

Anybody else notice, dvds are back in december after no dvds being announced in November? I work at a library, and definitely am happy about this as I love to display any Criterions that come our way, and our system gets pretty much every Criterion dvd, but doesn't carry blu rays at most branches.

They didn't even announce The Piano 4K. Guess that will be a January release.

Of all the titles Criterion purchased from Netflix and Amazon last year, is Atlantics the only one which has not been announced ?

December is typically light because they don't usually release anything after the middle of the month.

Criterion is still getting 5 UHDs out before the end of the year. I'll take it.
