Yep -- grand month in which I will pick up almost everything! I love 'Virgin Suicides,' but will probably pass on that as there is nothing else new on it -- so I do side a bit on the "This 4K wasn't needed right now." Was wavering on 'Devil in a Blue Dress' as well, as I have the TT disc, but there's new interviews here and of course 4K...and I love this film so, so much, even more than VS -- and I want to support/thank Criterion for getting it back out there!

Definitely picking up Okja, Raging Bull and Summertime during the summer B&N sale. I'll put the others on my secondary list of titles to get down the road.

I know! I saw the cover for The Exterminating Angel yesterday and it's so beautiful. And the cover for The Killing is still drawn but somehow still looks very arthouse.

I like the fashion-style design of Summertime but yeah the recent illustrated covers for all classics are a bit monotonous feeling even if they are still beautiful.

Can't wait for Neil Kellerhouse's cover for Mank 4K!

I wish they would have included the anniversary reunion they did a year or so ago.

Okja in 4K is huge. Barring any special one-off deal because it's Bong Joon-ho, that means Netflix is licensing out 4K rights now too. Opens the door for Roma, The Irishman, perhaps Mudbound, and who knows what else.

Part of me was really hoping they would delay the announcements another day just to see everyone explode.

Psyched for Raging Bull and Virgin Suicides. Both of which will be upgrades from DVD for me.

I already own a decent Blu-ray screener of it from the box set with the script, but a 4K Dolby/HDR release would be amazing- you know Fincher thrives in the digital realm and 4K would be showcase level.

There's not a lot of my collection that I'll be upgrading to UHD, but Raging Bull feels like a must. I hope they hit it out of the park with this one.

Summertime is the only title I know I'll pick up. While The Virgin Suicides is one of my all-time favourite films, I have a hard time upgrading any of my current Criterion blus to 4Ks. Even The Red Shoes, a film I actually vocalized my support of a 4K release, I have a hard time upgrading...

Also, a little puzzled at the blu only release of Drive My Car... shouldn't all new films from here on out be given a 4K from Criterion?

Solid month. I may be in for all 6 as they will be released during the B&N sale. On the fence about upgrading “The Virgin Suicides”
Not a complaint but, I find it interesting the it looks like “Raging Bull” will be their 1st 4K title in HDR10 and “The Virgin Suicides” will be their 1st 4K title without a 4K pass. That is if the specs are accurate.

I can't believe I'm complaining in a month with 4K Raging Bull, but...

Four of the six this month in UHD, but Summertime is a wrong aspect-ratio Blu-ray, despite a new 4K master.

Shall I roll the dice again for a widescreen Summertime UHD in... 2031?

You're going to have to mask your television.
