I fixed my tv. what a great day...

now I can catch up on all these criterion disks.

Went to a used media store in my area and saw a Salo CC from 1998 for 7.99 used, did not pick it up cause i think it was a bootleg/knockoff,the disc DID NOT have a white frosted ring and there was no artwork/insert. Not a authentic Criterion right?

Correct....

Also, the Correct DVD has 29 chapters.

Fakes have 9 or 10, and have burnt in subs

Is Criterion Collection limited to Reg A? Have they been released in Reg A as well.

Criterion is USA based company and all their current Blu-ray releases are limited to region A.

"For All Mankind" is also coming out in UK in November under Eureka's Masters of Cinema series. Same transfer, most of the bonus features are the same.

I am hoping that Criterion announces their next releases today... or else may have to wait till Monday.

it is usually the 15th ish I think.

me too...... I'm worried it'll be something I have been eagerly awaiting, because due to the crazy sales/price drops, I have decided to not pre-order, and just buy everything on a 2-3 month lag to save cash........

But if some of my favorites get released, resistance will be an impossibility

I've always loved that special feature and have had a hard time buying the titles that did not contain it. Though now I think there are only about 2 that do not, and they'll probably get re-issued eventually.

Who's psyched for "The Complete Monterey Pop Festival"? I wonder when B&N will do another 50% off Criterion sale?, that was AN AWESOME SALE! I'm thinking around the Holidays!

Hope all Criterion disks will be available in Reg B in November as part of the Masters of Cinema Series. Good news...

Akira Kurosawa movies will be a good edition. It is hundred years to next March. One of the best directors of his time.
