That's my point. The poster he quoted was merely stating his opinion, therefore it's kind of unnecessary to call him out by saying "that's subjective." Duh it's subjective - all opinions are.

The short answer is "yes." So, if you plan on sticking around we should just get used to it, sweetheart... yes? Also, I am full of sarcasm, as are other members on this board, so I hope you can appreciate it to its fullest. And ShellOilJunior knows I love him to itty-bitty bits & pieces... he's like a father to me.

My imagination is very limited, it seems. The brain bestowed upon me during my birth only allows me to see things for face value, I'm afraid. It's a very minor brain dysfunction that I've had for the better part of 32 years. I blame it on my mother's use of black tar heroin, I suppose. Next, you're gonna be telling me I should believe in God, too, on the basis that I can envisioned him/her, aren't ya?

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program...

Precious is already out on blu-ray from Lionsgate. I would say 0% chance of that one.

Hey guys...just looking for some advice here. I recently purchased 2 clear Criterion replacement cases for The Man Who Fell to Earth and The Last Emperor...I don't really care to keep the digipaks but I'm not going to just toss them...any suggestions? I'm guessing more people want the clear cases than digipaks.

I have no clue what to do with mine either. I don't want to throw them away because that feels wasteful, but I don't want to take the effort to try to sell them either considering they're basically an obsolete product that nobody would have a good reason to buy.

A few weeks ago, somebody sold all their digipack cases on ebay, but I think they only got about $20 for all of them.

Mine shipped out today too along with Days Of Heaven. It would be really cool to actually receive them on release day...

Mine has an ETA of Monday!

Free shipping...arrives before release date...I think I might start pre-ordering from Criterion instead of Amazon.

Has anyone tried pre-ordering April/May/June releases with the AFS discount?

Yes, all the pre-orders accept the discount code, jacob. I've placed all the pre-orders with the discount.

Just out of curiosity, how does Criterion package their shipments? If they're shipping one disc does it come in an envelope or a something sturdy. I'm thinking of switching from Amazon to ordering directly from Criterion. I don't like how Amazon uses the bubble envelopes because of the greater possibility of damage occuring. Plus, I'd save some money. I don't mind waiting a little longer to get the free shipping. I have Amazon Prime, so I get free 2-day shipping, but I'm willing to wait longer for my discs if they're shipped in better packaging. Sorry to ramble; I'm pretty tired.

I'm still waiting for B&N. But part of that is since at this point it seems like by the time that sale happens (whenever it is) I'll definitely have my tax refund in, so I can pick up just about every Criterion Blu I want and don't have yet (and a few DVDs, for the heck of it).

Like Dan Dan the Citywide Man, I'm being economical.

Thumbs up

both. yojimbo/sanjuro & days of heaven came to $22 each. any other titles would've been $22.5

the rest of my wishlist (as well as upcoming releases) i'll pick up during the B&N sale
for i think $18 or $19 right? what was the B&N sale prices per title.

They ship in boxes from Criterion for me. Plus shipping is faster than Amazon. I pre-ordered Bigger Than Life and it is already coming to my door in the morning (so says the tracking), 5 days until the release date.
