I wondered that, as well, but I don't know the colors of the original DVD match-up with those, or not. Of course, the colors could've been modified for the blu-ray release... much like the front cover.

Is it good? That's always a subjective question because opinions differ.

Is it good to some people? Sure.
Do some people find it an excrutiating experience? Sure.
Do some people invite their local priests over for a group viewing followed by touching? Possibly.

Let me just put it this way... watching "Hausu" is like sniffing glue, huffing Freon, and sniffing Scotchgard off your shirt's collar all at the same time.

What shirt though? Same one sold on the Criterion site? If so..... good deal.... if it's an advertisement for their website type of shirt.... not so great.

I created an account with a bunk-email...... yep... it's the same shirt..... that's a great deal... (I wear a medium anyways..... )

Janus toured it around the country. I just saw it two weeks ago. It's somewhat hard to describe. I've wanted to see House for many years. I was honestly surprised Criterion picked it up.

Like or dislike Criterion's choices, they usually choose films that if you're a film lover, you should see. I suppose cult "bad" movies fit this description, but Criterion has never really dipped into "Plan 9" films.

But I was delighted. Is it a cult film that can be enjoyed ironically? Absolutely. But at the same time, there is kind of a brilliance to it - as opposed to say "Yor, Hunter from the Future".

It's a good drunk popcorn movie night film, but it's also bizzarre in a very twisted wonderful way.

The trailer is pretty representative of what you get.

Well I did it. I went ahead and bought the Von Sternberg Silents.

Go to B&N if you want them. They are on sale for $48, and if you use the 15% coupon floating around, it came to $43 after tax with free shipping. So I pretty much got the silents for half off.

Amazon has it at 16.99 right now which is good. I ordered mine thru Barnes to their store and it came in yesterday so I am gonna pick it up after work this eve. I have a 5.00 off coupon and membership so it sill be like 21.99 ish before tax

Hey CG...do you have the link for the 15% coupon? I'm a member, but I'm having a problem with linking my membership with an account on their website. I've already spent 30 mins. on the phone with their customer support, but no dice...will probably have to get another card with another membership #.

Hey...I feel somewhat silly for asking this...BUT...how do you go into your profile to list the BDs in your collection. I've gone to my account CP and I'll be damned if I can figure out how to do it.

I've done it on other websites...but not here.

You just search for a movie in the search link at the top of this page, click on the movie and below the cover there is a button to "add to collection" type thing.
