I like the Indiana Jones movies, since I grew up watching them, and I can say I like Close Encounters too, but Jaws I got tired of from repeated viewings throughout the years. I'm not disliking it because of who Spielberg is, just not interested in it anymore and don't plan on owning any other edition of it. Just my dvd is enough for me.

I thought Munich was mediocre at best. But that's just my opinion.

And of course he just had to make a 4th one starring Shia LeBeouf that sucked. Hopefully he doesn't get the urge to do an E.T. or Close Encounters sequel and just sticks to his daring unicorn movies.

Or stick to his Oscar winning "black and white emotioned" WWII movies.

LOL. I remember back in 1999 being very happy Saving Private Ryan got snubbed for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Everyone was sure it would win Best Picture but in the end it was upset by Shakespeare in Love, which although being another movie I disliked I was happier to see win. Really of the nominated films that year Elizabeth or The Thin Red Line should have won. And thankfully Tom Hanks didn't win Best Actor. He's a good actor but Saving Private Ryan was not one of his better roles.

Also Terrance Malick got screwed over BAD losing out Best Director to Spielberg. But honestly, on one hand you have a recluse who hates Hollywood and disappears from the face of the earth for decades at a time in Malick and on the other hand you have Hollywood's "golden boy/god" Spielberg. Everyone knew how that was gonna turn out.

I always wanted to know why he always does this with his hands while he talks? Is he trying to look smarter? It looks like he thinks he is the be-all of directing, which I might add he prob thinks he is.

Not trying to stereotype but I've heard that sort of hand gesture is common among Jewish people. Of course it's just speculation, can't say for certain.

I will stereotype, because I think it's a hand gesture that is common among A-hole directors that think making a Disney version of the horrific events of the Holocaust is what separates them from the field.

I just want to know what he does to choose his films. Like does he say "Let's make a couple dinosaur movies and in between let's squeeze in a Holocaust picture, and maybe win an Oscar!".

Maybe he just works on things he's interested in.

God forbid!

I'm by no means a Spielberg fanboy, but to suggest that Schindler's List is a Disney holocaust film is actually really laughable.

Guys, I'm not going to go through the whole Spielberg crap again. It was just fun wth me and Chad. No fighting among posters. Just if you like his stuff, good for you. If you don't, good for you. But guess what? I don't care, nor do anybody care how I feel. One big happy forum family.

Now let's end this with some dramatic music playing, big piles of money and an Oscar.

I haven't watched South Park in so long. But WTF was that? Was that on the actual episode that aired?

Watch this film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091251/ and then tell me Schindler's List isn't a Disney war film. I actually feel sorry for you if you think Schindler's List is a good war film.

Each "rape" scene parodied a famous rape scene from a film, "Boys Don't Cry", "The Accused" and "Deliverance".

That's awesome.

Your statement and your 12 year old spelling is the best off-topic thing that has ever hit this thread. The way you gave emotion to it, beats anything Spielberg can do. It's Nirvana meets hip-hop. Love the zzzzz's too. LOL! OMG! TWEET TWEET TWEET! I bet you like hippy-hoppy or "Heavy" metal? Yeah....That's great.

Now back to your Band of Spielberg Brothers fanpage or wherever you came from.

But I mean really. This is the WORST POST ON THIS THREAD.

Yeah, I caught the Deliverance one. I skipped to those parts.
