Anyone have a coupon code other than C3N8F7W? It tells me I already used that one. (I probably did -- for Apoc Now).

Ah, too bad those 25% coupons are in store only... You're welcome, wish the deal had been this good when I grabbed it last month, but it ended up not being too much more.

When are they going to start releasing Ozu on BD? BFI's already released Tokyo Story and have already announced they intend to release all of his films (or at least all his noted ones) on Blu-Ray, so where is Criterion here? It's a pity they are region locked, as I'd have pounced on them if they weren't.

I don't have the "The Game" on LD or UK DVD..... but I would welcome a Blu-ray release in any sort, because it has been FOREVER since I've seen it.

I get to celebrate Christmas today, and again on January 7th.... although I'll still likely get no gifts

. Even seen all of Finchers films excluding the latest one and Zodiac yet.
Nothing would say Christmas spirit like a friendly viewing of Zodiac with the family!

What do the numbers on the spine of the blurays of Criterion represent?

It's just a numbering system that Criterion employs to keep track of their releases. It's nothing magical.

Also, the numbering system adds to the "collectible" factor for those OCD people that feel the need to buy all of the films released by Criterion even though they'll never watch and enjoy every single one of the releases. It's a smart move on Criterion's point.

CC

No one really knows, it's all very cloak n dagger stuff. The stuff of sinister, refined, impeccably-dressed men speaking in hushed tones behind doors of oak in small European villas.

Now, now, that sounds a bit extreme.

Thanks ccfixx. Does that include all their releases (DVD + Bluray)? Because I dont think that they have released many blurays. Some numbers are over 500
