Love Something Wild, but kind of depressing it has so little in the way of extras.

I was surprised when my facebook feed already had the Criterion releases for May. Rock on.

Looks like a ridiculously solid month to me. I'm down for each of those titles.

Chaplin cover an improvement over "Modern Times", but I'm still on the fence as to whether I like it or not.

Awesome month for CC. At least 3 of those (Solaris, Great Dictator, Diabolique) are day-1 purchases for me.

I still have the DVD. I'm a little hesitant to double-dip unless I sell off my original copy first.

As I said before, it looks like I will be picking up Something Wild and The Great Dictator (mostly because it's Chaplin, but it is my least favorite of his talkies), quickly; but I'll need to consider how I feel about the other ones, and if I should get during the sale.

Well...for those on the fence about some/all of the May titles...ALL but "The Great Dictator" and "Fat Girl" are available to stream on NetFlix.

Solaris and Diabolique for me. Maybe the Great Dictator, as well. Haven't seen some of the others yet.

Enough with the Topsy-Turvy covers already...

Diabolique and The Great Dictator for certain. Pale Flower sounds pretty cool and I like noir so that's a strong possibility. Solaris depending on the quality, hopefully the new discovery means it's also a brand-new transfer. Smiles of a Summer Night maybe, it seems a bit fluffy, and I like my Bergman emo.

All in all could be a very expensive month.

Yeah.

Probably The Great Dictator, would have rather seen something else of Chaplin's.

Maybe eventually Pale Flower, Diabolique, Smiles of a Summer Night, or Solaris.
