It might as well be over since it doesn't work on "Out of Stock" titles, which is everything. Went to order everything I have yet to pick up and only a whole four titles were in stock.

Oh, well, no need to place an order then. Amazing how a something like $200 order becomes no order so quickly.

Don't feel bad bud! I decided that there were no current releases that I really wanted/couldn't wait for (B & N July/hopefully) and didn't want to have to wait on all preorders coming at once (which in my case would be late May).

I'll either deal with Amazon while I still have Prime or wait for the next sale.

If I hadn't spent so much recently for BFI releases, this would have been more tempting to me.

I decided to play the waiting game as well. I was really tempted to order Sweet Smell of Success (along with a few others) since it is one of their most exciting 2011 releases as far as I am concerned. Hopefully one of the BN sales will happen again.

I will definitely be curious to see if they honor the pre-orders. I was actually working putting one of those together when people started reporting that it was no longer working. If they do honor it, that is a pretty great deal.

Yeah..... It will save me $180-$190 vs. Amazon's pre-order prices of $26-$27

Well..... I'm an idiot.... I was wondering why the numbers didn't appear to add up, and finally did some 3rd grade Math to find out that I failed to order "Topsy-Turvy" So it makes sense I guess... 17 X $15.98 = $271.66 DUH!!

I noticed that, and I was going to incorporate "Antichrist" into every post I made, but figured not everyone had their "Posts-per-page" maxed out.... so some people are likely on page 1,200 etc...

Yeah, it ended a while ago. It was 50,000 second sale (for 50,000 people liking their FB page). But I didn't go too crazy. I went for the Ozu Floating Weeds set which was never on sale online during the B&N sale and the Hollywood set.

Beta, I threw 11 pre-orders that I wanted in the cart like you said and they split them up nicely by 4 shipped at a time. My 1st shipment is supposed to be middle of April. I guess that was when the 4th title (White Material) is released on my order. A long wait, but worth it if they honor the $15.98 price. That beats the B&N sale for me by a long shot.

I bought 17 just forgot Topsy-Turvy (didn't "forget" just missed it I guess, while trying to get my order placed quickly since the "pre-order" thing was hit-or-miss at that time)

All at $15.98 each

I thought about ordering 20 copies of "Fear and Loathing" but didn't want to be "That Guy"

I was worried too. They did process my in-stock order already and have charged my card for that one. We will not find out about the pre-orders until the 1st one is released middle of next month.

I didn't even realize last night that my pre-order order did the half off of $31.96. I feel better about that now, although I completely forgot to order Something Wild, I'll live. I'm sorry not everybody was able to take advantage of this deal.

someone mentioned in the other thread that they added "No good for pre-orders" or something to that affect on their facebook page (early into the debacle yesterday)

If someone skilled in the ways of Facebook/Twitter could keep an eye on those to see if there is any hints to whether they will honor the pre-orders that got through, or cancel them..... or what... please let us know!!
