I was very close to adding that to my order earlier. I was also close on Silent Running and La Planete Sauvage and Wizards so I'm thinking I probably shouldn't go back.

Propeller has a better tour, or so I've heard. Their non-alcoholic Ginger Beer is to die for. It's so hard to find ginger beer these days. Stupid Superstore/Loblaws no longer sells their 2L bottles of it.

Gold Rush will definitely be the next Chaplin release...I would hope that they'll get it out before mid year. Wild Strawberries is overdue as well and both will be welcome by me...

Unfortunately not. I went to Best Buy to trade in some games and couldn't find either in store. Online it says it won't ship to store so I'm thinking they only have them online. Gonna try two more stores if not ill just pick up The Killing and Rushmore.

The funny part is if Godzilla showed up in my Gold Box at $17.50 shipped I wouldn't think twice.

Not a fan of Rushmore personally, but The Killing/Killer's Kiss is an excellent buy.

Does BB allow you to order online and ship to store to apply the trade and save like B&N did for some of you and your crazy coupons?

I've seen The Killing and enjoyed it very much. Haven't seen Killers Kiss so I'm excited for that. Rushmore is my favorite Wes Anderson film. I'm a pretty big fan.

Regarding the coupons, I don't think they allow to ship to store and use the coupon. Atleast that's what I've read in the Best Buy thread.

Une femme mariée seems to be out of stock or OOP and the price has skyrocketed. A real shame because I'd wanted to get that one, but it's a bit expensive for a blind-but.
I agree with the Godard recommendations suggesting starting with Breathless and Vivre sa vie (my favourite).

Damn, that's quite unfortunate. I might be jumping on some more items in the sale after all. I'll just cover my eyes whilst doing it...

I liked Killer's Kiss quite a bit. The only Kubricks I'm not too fussy over were Eyes Wide Shut (not a fan of Tom Cruise, and it didn't really appeal to me as much as Kubrick's previous output did) and Fear and Desire. I'd have to say I'm not really a Wes Anderson fan, as I only liked The Life Aquatic and Fantastic Mr. Fox.

....you obviously haven't been around many hipsters. That is exactly what they do and why they represent the end of western civilization as we know it.

I refuse to watch Tiny Furniture because I don't care for movies in the furniture genre.

Yup, and then you add it to your basket and it takes you through to the Paypal page, but when you click on "check out" you get these heartbreaking words:
"Your item has sold out
We're sorry, the following item(s) isn't available at this time"

Unfortunately when you Paypal checkout it states the item is Out of Stock. I had just rushed to order it, too.

On Un Femme Mariee, this is from a couple of days ago in the Eureka/MoC thread in a discussion about the (rather incredible) sale they're having on the Dual Format reissues...

No Une femme mariee or Vengeance is Mine though? I though all of the old titles (except Soul Power) were currently getting reissued ?

And this was Eureka's reply:
They will be later next week. They are going to be a bit behind the others coming into stock.

So hold off on trying to secure that expensive out of stock version!
