Frankly, that would be disappointing. Not because the movie is not great or the fact that I picked it up when released, but because it was released when they already were releasing blus. Why not then?? If it is the release, then I would assume they did not have the BD license back then and only the dvd license. Then again, it will probably be something totally different than that guess, like a really wanted title, oh I don't know, Gold Rush. You never know...

Pretty good review, I might have to think about getting these from Amazon.uk but in a months times, I am in a Black out now for March.

They must've straightened out the rights with the silent version of Gold Rush (or they're just not including it in the release).

I would recommend buying non-Criterion Fassbinder films because they won't be getting them all. Despair was just released on blu-ray by Olive Films.

Well, it's only May... Wild Strawberries still has 7 months to come out yet. I wouldn't say it's a clue that its coming out NEXT month, but sometime this year.
