So, no trailer on Rosemary's Baby? No trailers on Harold and Maude either, I wonder if this is a Paramount thing? I have the Paramount RB DVD but I don't remember if it had a trailer (but I bet it did).

[edit]Well according to dvdcompare.net it doesn't [/edit]

Absolutely no chance that In the Mood for Love would outsell Rosemary's Baby.

Arguably, a good movie transcends generations. For many, Rosemary's Baby is a good movie, and it's American. In the Mood for Love and The Forgiveness of Blood may be more modern, but they're "foreign" and have "subtitles," and most people hate reading their films. Therefore, Rosemary's Baby will sell better, which is a bit of a shame. I'm buying it, but I can think of several past titles people should be squeeing over instead, such as The Music Room.

Not that many titles for October...Well I can finally take In the Mood for Love off of my blu-ray wishlist! Also looking forward to Rosemary's Baby.

Just grabbed my copy off the shelf to verify, only an interview with Polanski, Robert Evans, and Richard Sylbert, and a making of featurette.

I don't know what you're trying to say here. The "natural audience"?

I saw in an earlier thread something to do with some Warner titles like Brewster McCloud (????)
No Blob ho hum
No Foreign Correspondant ho hum
No nothing
I am glad Rosemarys Baby is coming out as that will be a big seller for them. The film is too much of a downer for me even though it is good. It will be the biggest seller of the bunch IMHO

Joie is implying that only "Kriterion Kidz" buy Criterions, and only want modern films that came out in the past 15 years, as that's what they are familiar with.

You could interpret both ways I guess (waiting for it and all), but happy.

And the natural audience for Godzilla would be what? Japanese people in their sixties and seventies?

Gotcha. I'm sorry the Albanian film turned out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing though, as I was thinking at first, something Spidey might appreciate until I read up more on it.

So happy for Rosemary's Baby, was hoping the whole month of October would have a Halloween type thing going and they would have announced both The Blob, and Vampyr...happy just the same!!!
