I wonder the same thing. I could see it being something like Eraserhead or Badlands, or one of the other highly requested titles.

To follow up on my last post, this was just posted to the CriterionCorner Twitter: "methinks i'll probably be on the airport by the time Criterion announces their March releases, but you guys are gonna be VERY happy. trust."

We already know that Badlands is coming, though.

I'm going to assume it's something else that none of us are aware about.

What if it is a huge month of titles... such as yeah Badlands but what if they got a few other titles from WB's such as Blow-Up and Death in Venice, The Damned? one could dream.

I honestly think that WB's could be at the point of licensing out title they see no interest in releasesing themselves. Esp when titles liek Gypsy and DeathTrap Get Archive Blu releases. WB's can still make money from them thru Criterion.

That would be fun, but is unlikely. As of last month Friedkin was still in talks with Paramount and Universal about the film.

That would actually make sense.

Criterion loves throwing people off with things so obvious sometimes

Zodiac is being re-released in January by Warner, according to this site's calendar, along with a slew of other Paramount titles.

I just hope they don't mean big as in Badlands, not trashing the film but a thing like that would be disappointing as everyone already expects it any time now. I would guess Dreyer's The Passion of Joan of Arc but I doubt they will go forward with that without the Gaumont restoration. In the other hand, maybe they mean World Cinema Foundation Boxset big ! That would be the beyond amazing.

Totally forgot about the announcements today. A big one huh? It's gotta be a box set. Maybe BRD trilogy finally? Or maybe Le Samurai, that would be huge.
