Agree, though I am intrigued by the Westerns, and Medium Cool is a lock, but more Mike Leigh is kind of meh.

Haha, for sure. Their FB page is already littered with them, along with pleadings for the Zissou. Both films that I absolutely want on Blu-ray as well, but those are July/November releases. Gotta save the big guns for the big months.

Another Year was fine for what it was and this will be probably be fine too but does he even have anything else like Naked floating around in his filmography?

The longer we go without Zissou, the better. When is Wes gonna admit (like David O Russell did about I heart Huchabees), "I had my head up my ass."

I'll be getting Medium Cool. Looks like CC put together a pretty good package for it too.

Never saw the orginal 3:10 to Yuma. How does it compare to the remake?

Very excited for 3:10 to Yuma! That said, I'm still hoping for some more Chaplin and/or Harold Llyod in the near future.

Agreed. Life Is Sweet and Medium Cool are now priorities on my wishlist. Much as I enjoyed the original 3:10, I'm not compelled to upgrade.

Jubal is new to me. I'll check out it on DVD from my local library.

Awesome. I wasn't expecting any of these, to be honest.

I'll add them all to the Wish List and hopefully get they cheap.

Good. A month I can buy some Criterions that I had skipped over instead of getting new ones, as I only want Medium Cool for that month.

David Thewlis was phenomenal in Naked but I made the mistake of buying the film, don't know if I could stomach another viewing of that one, a little too disturbing for my blood.

I'll definitely grab Band of Outsiders, but after that, Criterion needs to take a break from the Godard upgrades and turn their attention to putting out more Truffaut on Blu-ray.

I really like Davies' "3:10 to Yuma". I watched it before the remake came out and found most of the remake's attempts to flesh out the story and make it grittier actually made it worse.

I haven't seen "Life is Sweet" but I am a fan of Leigh's so I'll have to check it out.

Ok I have a couple of questions that some greater Criterion fan might be able to answer if they were willing.
A. Is there anything in this new group that is particularly exciting?
B. I saw Eraserhead once and it seemed bizarre, but not in an "interesting film" way, more in a "Bad Movie" way. What am I missing about this film that everyone else seems to love about it? For the record I am a fan of films such as "8 1/2" & "Un Chien Andalou" so I am a fan of different movies.
