Le Samurai is certainly more highly requested
Eraserhead
Scanners
the Brood
Hitchcock Films
Its called genre films and are much better sellers than anything out there...
and Life Aquatic which I never heard of seems to be getting a great amount of requests

You never answered my question of how you can know with authority that a movie you haven't even seen is bad and there's lots of better ones out there? Better doesn't mean more popular.

Oh, and Sherlock Jr has nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes, so your "clues" remark means absolutely nothing. But I wouldn't expect you to know that, either.

same here, honestly I hardly ever pick up a eclipse set just because it is DVD. I realize some films may not be the greatest looking in HD, but I'd still prefer it in HD than Standard def. Oh well.

Not to jump into the middle of things, but over the last few years Ray's films have been requested as much or more than the others that you listed, especially the Cronenberg. Those titles are getting a lot of talk now because they were hinted at, but before that there wasn't nearly the level of talk that there was about Ray's films.

I've seen one and really have no interest in revisiting it. Don't really care about the other titles.

I never said his films were bad or good for one thing...BUT seeing some of the greatest films ever I can confidently say a lot of us would not think these APU movies wouldn't be as good. Its a taste issue.

Ok you call yourself Sherlock Jr and has nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes, ok that's logical

As a French, I'm just surprised for the Lubitsch (I thought Studio Canal released it long ago in the US too), and disappointed for the SD Eclipse Fassbinder set.

Then, there's the Ophuls. Gaumont will release it end of this year in France, so I'll probably wait to see if one seems better than the other.

But the Frankenheimer and the 3 Rays are pretty neat.

There will of course be people to say "Meh", but usually, I always find a couple stuff less interesting than the rest of the months, so you know... same ol' same ol'.

No, bu none of the plots are really jumping out at me. Seconds and To Be or Not to Be seem alright, but nothing that really impresses me.
