Those two I have yet to see, but I'm not terribly interested in the latter either. 2046 doesn't have a blu-ray release, but it's absolutely worth seeking out if you enjoy his work. My personal favorite of his.

So you want Criterion to blow all their load in a single month?

The Artificial Eye Ashes of Time release is worth picking up. Not my favorite WKW, but a really fun movie nonetgeless.

I Married A Witch would be a better October candidate, in my opinion. Halloween after all!

I would kill to see Thief released

The Jarmusch film I want is Stranger than Paradise.

It didn't keep Criterion from releasing the BLU for ICE STORM in July though. That is Thanksgiving lol IMO

I was bored to tears by the first half hour of Ashes of Time (Redux), but I can watch In The Mood for Love any number of times. 2046 is pretty damn good, and Fallen Angels decent though not for me re-watch material.

I'm thinking either The Tenant or Don't Look Now will be the Halloween offering(s). And perhaps a BD upgrade of Kwaidan or Jigoku. Maybe Criterion will release Eraserhead that month.

I bet you'll probably dislike The Grandmaster.

Are you a fan of Happy Together? That's probably his finest film in my opinion.

I loved Chungking Express, and also Loved In the Mood for Love. Fallen Angels and Happy Together I didn't like as much at all. In fact I blind bought F.A. and H.T. and re sold them fast. I thought I was going to like H.T. but in the end I just wanted to turn it off the whole time, and I can watch some really dull films IMO lol

Yep, from Universal. They revealed it while promoting the Schindler's List remastered BD.

Wow! I found In the Mood for Love way less interesting than Happy Together. Also, I think HT is his finest visual achievement.

I wish that Criterion would release every single film on my request list in one single month, and then start off with a clean slate of fresh surprises each month after that.
