In for I Married a Witch and The Uninvited. The special features for both of these are pretty lacking...which to me would seem to indicate that it should be a budget release with a $29.95 SRP...but no such luck.

I've never seen any Cassavetes movies. That's a lot to pony up for a blind buy, even at 50% off.

I Married A Witch is also incredibly light on the supplements. I feel like both those titles should have been 29.95 SRP.

I picked up all 5 Cassavetes released by BFI. Should've waited, as Criterion's edition probably has more extras.

I'll be skipping the Cassavetes as I have the BFI blu's. Probably skip La Notte (gutted theres no boxset) too for the MoC release.

Eyes Without a Face is a day one for me. They should change the artwork for it though, not afan of the old cover.
I Married a Witch & Uninvited will also be bought.

They might have marked them up high, with the intention of adding some extras later on?
Hopefully anyway.

Sounds great to me. I wouldn't mind if the majority of titles were like that

Yeah, I find it odd they are selling those for full price. May be a typo?

Yeah, I don't know. Let's hope at least one of them comes down in price because other than the trailer, each one only has one special feature. I commented on Criterion's Facebook page about it. Maybe they'll take notice.

This is the best Criterion line-up so far this year.

I cannot wait to upgrade my DVD of Eyes Without a Face.

I've always wanted La Notte and the Cassavetes collection.

In fact, every single title looks like a must-own. Glad the November sale will be the following month. Wow.

It's a great month, but that is my biggest disappointment.

I still think the best month of releases for this year so far was March.

Great month.

La Notte is a first-tier pickup and pretty much makes the slate, but that sure as heck could've been a lower-priced release. Probably paying for the transfer work on that one, but I don't mind. I held off on the Eureka blu update for a potential boxset from these guys; and there might be some more substantial extras yet added to the package before its run commences.

And I love its cover.

Its good to see that the DVD boxset upgrade cherry has been broken with Cassavetes; we know BRD is coming, but here's looking at your way too, Antoine Doinel. I might still look to cherry-pick the ones I might be interested in from the BFI releases, though they aren't priorities as of yet.

Eyes Without a Face and I Married a Witch are of interest as well.

It's Paulette Goddard in Modern Times if I remember correctly.
