Missed deadlines can be frustrating but not as much as missed periods

Speaking of Mann , now that The Thief is getting a more then likely a Blu-ray Criterion release, will The Keep get one as well some day? Or should it be relegated to the dustbin of history?

Well I would love to see The Keep come from any studio. Soon or later I am sure it will surface from someone.

customers don't give companies deadlines.. bosses do. an announcement date is not a deadline... if they missed a day of work yesterday, then there must be things left undone.. so what? now there's something to look forward to tomorrow, while the excitement from the anticipation lasted all morning today! having to wait longer is a bonus

Does Criterion have some sort of published policy that they will announce new releases on the 15th of each month, or are they being held accountable for something they just happen to usually do?

I mean, is it really a deadline? They never said new releases were being announced today, did they? In general they announce on the 15th, but it's not exactly a cold hard rule.

I would like to see the new releases too, but calling this unprofessional or embarrassing seems a bit much.

Well, that means, if announcements aren't released today, we'll have 10-15 new pages in this thread to look forward to tomorrow as there will be postings every 1-2 minutes for about 3 hours straight.

I was asking rhetorically. And we were both responding at the same time, which is why are posts are basically the same.

since we have 24 hours left speculation time, I'm really hoping that Tommy Wiseau's masterful "The Room" gets the Criterion treatment.

And Mr. Redmen thought Bluray.com members only had it our for his label

All joking aside I can live with tomorrow. On the other hand I just picked up Eyes without a Face along with High Plains Drifter and The Haunting.
