Zatoichi Boxset shipped £5.88

But they cancelled Three Colors (£2.88) and Hunger (£2.88) which is odd, they emailed me saying they had now stock so they cancelled (they can't admit they made error).

We are just three days away from the August 2013 announcements. What is everyone looking forward to?

I would love an upgrade of Le Notti Bianche - phenomenal film. By the way, we are more than likely getting Y Tu Mamá También as I imported the Blu-ray from Canada a few weeks ago.

Honestly it feels like so much has been teased for 2014, that August will likely not carry any surprises at this point.

I don't necessarily agree with that because it seems that films get teased and never appear or get teased and appear many many months later. Also, a lot of what was in the New Year's cartoon has already been announced.

I'd say that I'm looking forward to the Tati set that I thought was sure to be among the July releases. Unfortunately, given that July is bringing us a Demy set, I don't expect the Tati set for another few months (November, maybe?)

November seems to have a big set each year, so I think it's safe to assume it will be released then.

It'll be interesting to see if you actually receive it.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of recent teases have already been announced.

From what I can think of, the obvious missing ones are:
-Y Tu Mama Tambien
-Eraserhead
-Polanski's (?) MacBeth

There's also all the titles that are already on Hulu/iTunes.

Personally, I'd love to complete the Apartment Trilogy with The Tenant.

More Chaplin would be nice. Wasn't The Kid a clue last year? Limelight or The Circus would be great too.

You're right, The Kid is probably the most likely to be next.

It was either for The Kid or Le Samourai.

Criterion has the rights to his more mainstream films, as evidenced by them on the Hulu channel. I honestly wouldn't mind A King In New York. I think it's hilarious.

As ever I'm hoping for Z and Missing.

Was disappointed to read over at Criterion-Forum that apparently State of Siege was in the works by Criterion for some time but the rights have since lapsed, coz the three of them could have made a neat box set.

Three days away? Could Criterion make the announcements tomorrow?

I would love Z to be upgraded, as well.

It's the best political thriller I may have ever seen.

Well, the UK edition (at least) is Region B locked. The problem is that several countries have a "StudioCanal Collection" label. The Third Man happens to be one of the small handful of StudioCanal Collection releases that Lionsgate has released in North America.
